Greetings - I have started posting up some material I collected during the 1990s and I hope you like it. I'm trying initially to add posts not yet out there and will gradually add more and more. There will also be some other vids along the way, so feel free to subscribe.
With regards the skating clips, this channel will, where possible, always present the performance including the judging and commentary analysis as feedback is proving this to be an integral part of the viewing experience. Included will be what I imagine are quite rare pictures I've chosen irrespective of final competetive placement. I believe performances were presented to be seen after all, and watching the old scoreboards and names come up I feel has a definite charm about it.

no lutz. no flip. but all the rest was impressive. i still think the artistic marks were way too low. i would have given her 5.3 or 5.4 for technic and 5.6 for presentation. i can t understand many judges gave irina better artistic marks with her junior choreography
i was there and surya should have wun the free programm. 5.7 for 5 triples... bobeck 2 clean triples 5.5?! the 5.5 for presentation are stupid. how a judge can give 5.9 for technic and 5.5 for presentation! sure this is rhz fucking german judge!
Such a shame that the combination didn’t happen because those high presentation marks would have had her right behind Yamaguchi in 2nd with a clean skate.

I wish I could slap the stupid face of that tool who's commenting on Miss Bunaly taking a stand for the wrong they did to her. Such a DISGUSTINGLY racist system that allows this. Anyways, decades on EVERYONE forgot Sato and her flat routines. All WE DO REMEMBER is this incredibly INSPIRING WOMAN THAT MADE HISTORY AND PUSHED FORWARD FOR PROGRESS. F.. Sato and the RACIST judges.

There were minor issues from a technical standpoint but 4.9 is way too low for the first mark...and the presentation marks should have been 5.6/5.7... judges should have known that there were very few (if any) competitors skating after here that could match her artistry.
Surya should have skated where there were (no judges, no commentators, no reporters, and no haters) in a beautiful arena where her name and pictures should be on outside billboards and inside pictures of her excellent performances when she was in her twenties and thirties. 👏
