I’m still browsing around. Can these stadium seats be used on the ground like grass or beach? Have any thing for that? I’m looking for something I could lay while waiting at a long line, then when mines start moving, easily fold or pack. Does this one falls back if set on the ground and you sit back? Thank you
Hi there, great job in the video. I'm thinking of getting this clamp for my lens which has an arca Swiss foot as well as a 1/4 inch tripod hole. I have a question about the hole in the middle of the clamp. Can I use a 1/4 screw that that can connect to the foot to provide additional support while connected to the clamp?
Just got the WisMesh Pocket I bought from Rokland and the GPS is working great on it. I'll tear that one apart too and see if I can tell what's different about it.
I am trying to factory reset my T-beam because I turned on Wi-Fi but it did not work but now when I flash the radio, it wants to reconnect to Wi-Fi and it just repeating it. The radio won't work now because it does not connect to bluetooth. I tried press down the reset button and usb connect and flash download and then release button but it still does the same thing. Is there another website that will delete and factory reset the T-Beam.
My WisMesh is supposed to be here Tuesday (7-9-24), but it sounds as though I should maybe expect a GPS issue. Hopefully, the unit used in this video came out of an earlier batch, and whatever problem existed, was discovered and fixed before subsequent lots were shipped. Surely RAKwireless has a decent Quality Control program in place. Of course, this device made it out. I have three WisBlocks, and one of them is the older microUSB revision boards, and I've never had a problem with anything. I know it's cheaper to embed different technologies, i.e., GPS, accelerometer, etc., into one package, but there's also something to be said for having separate, easily swappable modules, too. Oh well, it's not the end of the world. It looks like that may still be a few months away. 😮 Regardless, I'll at least (hopefully) have a cool new shirt to wear. It let me choose a size when I ordered, so I guess they still had some left. 👕✅ Thanks for the video.
Yeah, my impression is that whatever was sent to me was not the final production run because they said the replacement one they were sending me was already in their US warehouse. Apparently, the GPS issue was interference, so maybe they simply rerouted the antenna cable or something. I don't know.
I got mine in the mail yesterday and am only so-so with it. The battery pack has been running for about 28 hours and it is down to 45% charge. The screws were all loose so I took it apart it is not waterproof. The GPS was disabled on the configuration menu and I enabled it but the GPS still doesnt work. Hmmm. So far Im not really impressed. I ran it up a 50ft pole in my yard and have about a 3 mile range as the crow flies. I am going to disable the gps and the screen, and run with a fixed location while it is playing as a Router_Client.. I also changed out my antenna. The stubby is not good swr.
I was told they were experiencing some interference issues with the GPS on earlier models but I was under the impression their warehouse was already stocked with the fixed versions. Idk, I'm going to have to check it out when I get the replacement because I couldn't tell if the GPS was built-in to the board or if it was supposed to be an additional module. I expect battery life to be excellent, but I'll do a full test to see actual.
Yeah. I actually had the manufacturer add a gasket around the entire thing to seal it. The only thing that's not technically waterproof rated is the antenna, but I haven't been able to find one that has anywhere near the performance of the one I've got, so personally I'd rather have the better performing antenna. idk, still researching.
The directions say to put the energy saving mode to "ON" when starting and to turn the energy saving mode to off for loads over 1200 watts. My harbor freight generator is the opposite.
Instruction problems: Setting the correct time is fairly straightforward. But setting the On/Off timers was not well explained. Most of the confusion comes from the confusing use of the words "On" and Off" When you hold (3 seconds) the Settings button and the "+" button at the same time, you will enter the ON timer. You will see a small "On" icon in the extreme lower left of the remote display. You will also see a large ON or OFF to the right of these icons. Press the "+" or "-" buttons to get the large icon to show "ON". (This means that the On timer is now active) Then, press the Setting button to set the desired On time. Press and hold the setting button to save your settings. To set the Off Timer, press and hold the setting button and the "-" button for 3 seconds You should see a small "off" indicator in the extreme lower left corner. You will see either "ON" or "OFF" to the right of the small "off" icon. Press either the "+", or the "-" buttons to make the large "ON" appear. This means that the Off timer is active. (Confused yet?) Press the Setting Button again to enter the time setting mode for the Off Timer. Then, press and hold the Setting button to save your settings. To summarize: the small "on", "off" icons in the lower left tell you which timer you are adjusting. The larger "ON", "OFF" icons to the right, tell you whether or not the selected timer is active.
Matt or anyone know if you can open the M/F connectors on the panel cables to run them through a neater hole? same type as they sell as spares on shop but worried might be glued and don't want to make a hash of them...
The colour it comes out as on stainless depends on speed and power and you would do a test grid with the stainless you’re going to use to get the colour chart, but when you use coated stainless you would have to do the grid on the coated sample, it will never get shiny though matt silver is about the closest you’ll get, the black looks good, you could always try washing it with mineral spirits that might pull the black off
I have a situation where I need to remove bleach from my well by forcing the pump to run every 2 hours and a 30 minute break for cooling. I would to accomplish this by running this to my garden hose bib. I am not at this residence and don't want to sit there all day with a hose but can't leave the pump running all day either. Will this be able to accomplish this? Thanks.
i mean.. it has a pretty good reason that "most cases have antenna connectors for different antennas" and "for a beginner" is not really a thing come on, were not talking about reparing a car.. yes its a cool case but thats the end of the story lol if youre capable of ordering the correct battery with the correct connector you are also capable of ordering a suitable sma connector and antenna.. even if youre a "beginner". the solar thingy is cool :D
I got that printer today and liked the easy setup. But what I don’t like is the waste of one sticker each time you switch it on. Then it pushes one label out and the next label is use for printing. So, if you want to print a single label then you waste another sticker each time 😢.
Hi, great video, does anyone know what kind of gas treatment you would recommend for the PowerSmart? I just got mine yesterday. I'm so psyched. I can't wait to live off the grid in the luxurious state parks I'll be camping at 😂
I have two Lilygo SX1262 LoRa modules I accidentally bought back in the day to test the Helium Network. Later on, I found out that Helium did not support SX1262, and I also gave up on Helium. Just got curious about Meshtastic, and thanks to your video, I turned them both into Meshtastic smartphone modules, in half an hour (finding the right firmware, researching other modules, realizing mine were ok for the job, flashing, etc.), for my Android phone. Thank you very much!
Thank you! Part of the tip was stuck inside the pencil and i got a my own tweezers to twist it out, it can takes some time tho and I’m sure you don’t have to use tweezers if your fingers are small enough
Subscribed because of this video. Great presentation and addressing customer needs. I am a complete newbie to this tech. Why hasn't anyone made a model that requires no assembly or mods, just buy one item or multiples of that item and done? Why isn't there a product that is just off the shelf ready. If for example i want a toaster, i go to the store and select a toaster. I'm not given a bunch of parts to figure out how to assemble into a toaster?
