Not sure if they have ( rules/regulations) in the sport of jujitsu for what I just saw. I'm going to say that in a fight I'd definitely be doing whatever works best to defeat the enemy. Oh and you definitely pulled it off because he turned off the heat and let go 👍🏼
Pretty sure the mcdojos and lane sport tournaments won't permit this. You could face stomp, knee to the head, finger poke and esescape nearly anything.
Woah, I was a little worried there. I was afraid you were going to say the waiter said "Excuse me, sir. But I think I should let you know the bottom of your beard is floating in your bowl of soup.
You allowed to deliberately throw your opponent to the ground in muay thai? I see it happening. But then usually the ref immediately stops the action and motions for the grounded opponent to get up. Leading me to believe the throwdown was not legal. However the ref never then warns the thrower, leading me to believe the throwdown was not IL-legal. So when I'm watching muay thai the thing that I am mostly is...confused.
Great question Lane, there is quite a long explanation. Throws and sweeps are technically fouls under traditional Muay Thai rules. However, they are big "wow" moments for the audience. So it's not common to see point deductions for them, especially at big stadium shows. In small local shows under WBC rules, fouls will be acknowledged, warned and result in point deductions. All that being said, even though they are fouls, they are still a regular part of Muay Thai clinch training. I hope that clears it up a bit.
I knew the fighters would win a settlement from the very beginning. The Ali Act Needs To Be Amended Legislated into MMA to completely clean up the sport.
