I personally am not a fan of Isabella's redesign. I first saw it and turned into the embodiment of that "brutha ugh" meme. I was appalled by it. But I'm willing to overlook it if the rest of the game is delivered well
I still am not sold on Frank's new look, I think they did it to reflect the new voice actor. If I do pre-order the game i'm using the new skin. Also with Isabella, why does it look like she has grey hair? She's supposed to be in her 20's yet they are making her look a lot older than what she's supposed to be.
Honestly the stuff like Fast Forward and such people are complaining about reminds me as a fan of Fire Emblem, about the STILL ongoing stupid war between the Classic and Casual mode audiences who CANNOT seem to accept "the options" especially from the "Classic" mode crowd who feel since Permadeath has been in the series since day 1, adding ANYTHING that removes that is blasphemy despite as said, IT'S A FUCKING CHOICE! Their only excuse for it being that they THINK the "games were changed for the worse" because their expecting people to use Casual....despite the fact the game hasn't changed one bit WITH Casual and their just making up shit to whine about. At least the one thing both agree on was Fire Emblem Fates Phoenix mode was a STUPID IDEA! And Casual for a Classic lover like me is GREAT for Maddening Mode cause it ease up my STRESS levels, and I always have Hard for Classic Runs and can CHOOSE to use Maddening Mode if I wish (all Casual does is remove the ability to use that character for the battle and their not getting EXP, and Rewind, the OTHER thing their mad about GIVES YOU THE OPTION to not rewind and even accept your lose if you DID lose the stage! But feels like they HATE the temptation, and I'm not surprise if their WHINING about it, feels like those PURISTS that get mad the moment they see a woman's "cankles" because "Sex is Evil....and they are horny!") I think there are legit stuff to complain about, but really wait till the game comes out and is played to make them WHEN their legit found, not make up simply to look BRILLENT, you just look like an Edgelord Clown clowning himself
I think it's GOOD that I haven't played DR1 in a LONG while. I like to ENJOY a remaster/remake WITHOUT whining and bitching about how "Ruined forever" certain things are because I have to hate something for DARING to be a Remaster/Remake and YES I get the reasoning, but come on, you defeat the point your all making when you whine about every little tiny thing and some of you go as far as LYING about the ACTUAL good things in a remaster/remake worth praising at the very least because you want to not change your 0 out of 5 like petty children. Plus many QoL changes CAN affect how I feel, like people complaining about "HAVING THE OPTION" to fast forward time for example! Seriously I assumed you'd all WHINE if they gave a "way back machine" rewind! But how DARE they give you "an OPTION YOU CAN EASILY IGNORE!" Just feels like you're "heading off" the "new modern fans" that might like the Remaster/Remake over your PRECIOUS ORIGNAL GAME like it shouldn't be seen as a "different beast" or something! I've seen this shit with ALL Remakes and even SEQUELS and it annoys me to know in! All the bitching and moaning
Changing Frank is changing Dead Rising. Period. Without TJ Rotolo, this isn't Frank West which completely ruins the game as a Dead Rising remaster. Nothing can save it in my eyes without a original VA mod on PC.
I pre orderd this becuase I loved the first one, never really finished the game. But now I want to give it another try at and spend my time. What I do hope they did was improved the ai pathing for survivors becuase dear lord it was annoying
Yeah I pre-ordered it too so I could support a game I love and then I find out that Capcom went through and changed characters for no reason whatsoever and then I find out that they went and started censoring other games that they're coming to America with so I've decided to cancel the purchase of their game and no longer support Capcom
I'm extremely hopeful for this. I can't wait to see what Carlito looks like, and the survivors too. The environments are already top notch, Frank... not so much. I just this'll run on my pc 🤣 it'll probably need a powerful one...
Watching this made me realize that “is Nick Ramos transgender?” is an actual iceberg entry because of a retcon with the list of names of orphans Carlito infected in the original dead rising.
Idk about the rest of you but I’m getting a serious bill Murray vibe from Frank! I’m just really happy that it is the same old game with updated mechanics!
the thing i worry most about is the music, i know no tracks have really been shown but its SO easy for composers to misread what the original song was, example being yakuza's kiwami tracks i knoe im one of those minority music geeks but i swear that remaking music can really make or break a game please capcom, i need adams and franks theme to be good, please.
Maybe I'm just old, but I still think the original holds up well visually (on PC at least.) I'm not foaming at the mouth about the changes, but I just really don't see much of a point.
I wanted this for years dead rising 1 was way to hard for me to beat it which sucks because i always wanted to 100% that game but i can hardly control it
