is it real leather? Or how can you tell? I have what I think is a real leather office chair but I have no idea if it actually is or not because it was second hand.
How come you painted ottoman in lighter color, but the result at the end of the video, including two dark brown pillows, still in dark chocolate? Would you mind to show the sufficient result? Thank you
Fantastic to know! I see amazing leather couches that are faded and now know what to do with them. My husband really wants a leather recliner and facebook market place here I come.
Thank you so much for the update ! I m thinking of painting my 6 leather dining chairs. As these were around 700 each, and I cant afford new ones, I am sceptic about painting them and am wondering if the paint holds up nicely after a while or if my chairs will be ruined. Honestly am still a little afraid but your video has given me some comfort. Thank you
Nice. I have a chocolate brown couch, similar to what you started with, and I'd like to add some black in parts, on the edges and on the buttons(has chesterfield type of arms) to get that distressed look, for lack of a better description. If it doesn't turn out right, I'll just dye the couch black as that would work too. Any suggestions would be really appreciated.
Thanks for sharing, was the cabinet wood or MDF? Idk I'd like to do that to two book shelves but mine I'd think it could be blown out and not work. Thanks for posting
Great video. how much of the 8 oz bottle did you use? I have a love seat with wooden arms, so I only need to stain to back and seat parts. I'm wondering if 8oz will be enough.
Girl you did that today I went into a restore store. and I found a nice old leather chair & Ottoman and I love the style it's beautiful I instantly thought if and how I could dye it. your video was the very first and you Sold me hook line and sinker. not only did your Ottoman come out so lovely and rich looking. I was taken back how awesome the room is decorated...thank you again .. going to get started with my project....YAY 🛋️🪞🪑🧺🚪
