@noahgeo5192 I would try it with caution. It would be easy to build it with the cross member but remove it and test it before final glue. You might be able to get away with it if you were to poor man fiberglass the canvas.
Do you have any clue how I can stop mine from tilting back? I got it second hand so I'm not sure if it's broken or not, but it looks like this one underneath.
@@YourOwnAdventure Thank you! That was my hypothesis, I was afraid to overtightened the springs and break something, but if that happens obviously something was broken already.
If it works for him, it’s not foolish. I get it, I would never take two pliers like he does over a decent Victorinox. Even if Im taking the bare minimum I always carry at least my minichamp. I’d also choose a different pouch, pick a much smaller pen, … But that’s what works for me. Edc/toolkits are personal and calling it foolish is like if were to call you foolish because you like a certain color. Doesn’t make sense.
VERY COOL! I want to build a truck topper. You just used PVC , tarp, straps and string? How is that holding up? Any issues while driving, any tips? Thanks!
That is the extent of what I used. I also used a PVC glue. It's holding up just fine and has taken abuse. Storms blowing it off, water pooling, etc. My main revision would be adding a spine to the middle top so water would run off better. I have to go out and poke the water pools off after hard rains as it is. I'd also be interested to see this idea with poor man fiberglass technique. If you go for it, post a video so we can check it out!
Bought a 2017 Diamondback Recoil new and it is 2024 and it is still going strong. I think it works for me since I am not an aggressive rider and I like doing the upgrades myself.
This is a very distressed limewash, I agree. We actually sold this house but if we were to do it again I'd go for a fully opaque for the reasons you pointed out. In this area, though, the distressed limewash look was very popular and it influenced us.
Stock ruck, I hit 38downhill before the rev limiter kicks in, 36mph flat. So people claiming 45 prolly weigh less than 100lbs cuz I’m no where near that.
I'll hit 45 on a slight downhill. Or 45 on a flat if I have enough time to hit the power band. 42 is what I can account for in normal traffic and is what some stock Rucks will run at. I'm 200lbs packed weight and have no problem hitting these speeds. Location and jetting is possibly impacting your speeds.
@@YourOwnAdventure stock ruckus, at sea level 240lb rider. Curious to see if a lighter rider would change outcome. Waiting for Polini variator and cdi box to come in to see if it will improve top speed.
Epic set up great job! Loved seeing what you did with the lighting and arangement, you have alot of realestate to work with so i know younhave tons of ideas
Thank you! We actually sold this house and moved back to the coast, so I'm excited to start working on the new house and planning the halloween design!
I’m looking at an older tempt 3 in great condition. I’m 5’3” and the bike is a medium. The standover is is doable but not as roomy as I’d like and I’d have to cut a bit of seat post off to fit properly. The fit and feel seated and riding is great. Any opinions on a bike that is a bit too big?
Well, it will be more stable and maybe you'll be more confident on it. But a frame that is too big is harder to make work than a frame that is too small.
@@YourOwnAdventure question for you (not sure what your name is), using a Osmo Pocket 3 with GoPro official chest mount so you have the links for the additional pieces you would need for the GoPro as you showed in your shorts video? I would like to chest mount OP3, give it try and see how the footage looks.
Does the heating tip also work for a crankset seized into the BB? Hitting it with a mallet (plus a ‘hitting block of wood’) and will not budge - salt ingress
