I got hungry just watching her make that fry bread with beans. I’m learning how to make fry bread. Got a recipe from Google. It’s ok. After watching this, I am puzzled by the tossing of the dough. Why is the dough tossed back and forth? Does it make it taste better or is it for show??🤔

We call it Indian fry bread here in Wyoming, as navajos we don't step on anyone's toes. But, the fry bread they make here, tease like donuts. It's yummy too. I make it my own way too. Measure same but, I add tsp sugar, tbsp powered milk, little oil.
I just saw a video for no kneading Turkish bread, it used yeast which I prefer not to use, I think blending the two recipes would be awesome, no yeast and no kneading. Thank You very much.❤
I’m from South America and in my region we have this but we call it “Torta fritas” but it’s basically the same thing. I was shocked when I saw them here in the US. Didn’t know that natives here ate them too. We usually make them when it rains, not sure where that tradition originated but that’s what we do
Looks great, however very disappointing that you still haven’t provided a complete recipe with the recipe & seasoning amounts previously requested by many.
There used to be a food court in Phoenix called the Pepper Tree. One of the venues was a Navajo taco stand. My favorite was a piece of fry bread with Hatch green chile on it. Yum!
Thank you so much for sharing. My neighbors are native, I didn't want to keep bothering them for fry bread but I can't help it, they have me hooked!!!😩😩 Now, I can try myself.
Shortly after crossing from AZ to NM on the I40, there is a souvenir stop. Also, a booth with a lady that sells Navajo fry bread. She fries it while you wait. So yummy❤ Thanks for the recipe.
I like how you did your oven you never thought about doing it like that but my husband is Mexican so he's a lot of fried foods and that's just a good idea 😂
