beautiful song and performance. many years ago this song was also performed by the Scottish singer Andy M. Stewart. but in this interpretation with a "lady voice" it even sounds more "fragile" and soft. it is a pity, that the name of the singer is not given in the song explanation.
I am half Irish, my people having come here over 150 years ago. This song really touches my spirit. I can only imagine how my first generation forbears felt when remembering their home.
