This is proll staged cause that tank is more suitable for a leopard Gecko than a crested gecko. even if it wasn't you must not have done your research because crested geckos usually are more comfortable in versicle tanks.
She is mean I have a leopard gecko and I’m totally fine with it. I really wanted a bearded dragon but my leopard gecko is my favorite animal so she has to be grateful.
im planning to have a non bioactive enclosure as well, how often do you change out the paper towels and wash everything down? i was told to replace the paper towels every 3 days 🥲
hey! every 3 days seems a bit excessive haha. personally, i change out the paper towel and clean everything during my tank cleaning every 2 weeks. this can be done sooner if you find the tank realllly dirty or foul smelling but I find every two weeks being a perfect time frame for my gecko! hope that helps 🫶🏽
I recently traveled out of the country for a week and I had a family member come to my home daily to spray the tank and feed him pangea / crickets! I think this is the safest way.

@@JadaNoelle I actually do have one, my crestie is still young, but not a baby… so it is small right now. I want to start feeding it crickets eventually but I’m not sure what the best way is. I bought a container that I can probably put her in and put the crickets in there? Or should I use tongs and directly feed her like that, while the cricket is still alive? Whatever you think is best! Thank you 😊 they also mentioned feeding the younger ones small crickets which is what I will try to do.
@@MarianaHernandez-lt7ntonestly it’s really up to you!! at a young age I recommend using small or extra small crickets and only feeding 2-4 crickets a week! don’t forget to feed pangea though, it’s essential! i recommend trying a few diff feeding methods and choosing whichever way ur gecko responds best to the crickets. you could try putting ur gecko in the container and dropping in 2 live crickets and allow them to hunt for them or keep them in their enclosure and try tong feeding. if they seem to like either way, then choose ur personal preference! :)
@@MarianaHernandez-lt7nt it’s easier to tong feed them and rip their heads off if you are having trouble as the smell will entice them more, make sure you don’t have metal ended reptile tongs though :)
I hate bugs as well but unfortunately throughout time I learned that it’s best to feed them both bugs and their fruit diet🥲 I feed mine the Pangea fruit mix 4 times a week and crickets once a week. While they get most of their nutrients from the fruit mix, they grow a lot slower without bugs, and can become a bit underweight. I will be making an updated video on how I care for mine so look out for that video in the next 2 weeks or so for more tips! It’s been 2 years owning mine and he’s doing great.
There are so many things wrong with your tank, and how tf do you as a customer not know what youre buying …? They literally open the enclosure and pull the animal out in front of you and have you sign a CAPC form. I should know i literally work for petco. Unless the employee had gecko turds for a brain and you didnt bother watching them or look in the box idk what to tell you. Its pretty obvious you did this for the bit and its really frustrating to watch. Although i will say the enclosure at that particular petco is 100% wrong and i guess if theyre putting leopard gecko hides in a crestie tank they might just bamboozle you with the wrong animal.

Terrible in the happened so look the next day I had a wait for like 1 week and my friends are like do you have a lizard yet and I was like no like why Because I was like OK Let's talk about it when I get it probably I was like how did this happen like I don't know maybe they didn't hear me clear or maybe like the person took it and then right away or there too busy in this didn't notice I think like there are 2 busy it was so crazy I had to get like different type of food for them and I but we just gave it a lot like you cause I was scared if I was gonna die cause
That's what happened when I got my lizard yeah I had to go back to the store and say this was my wrong lizard I had it make sure there's like 1 more left in there if there's not you're bad luck you're probably have to wait May be for a long time I don't know it was for couple of days but maybe it's a long time for those geckos come back in there tickle it 1 week it was lot for me like oh my god😵😱

Can I have a gecko and I have a bearded dragon when I'm like 20 and I'm 12 right now so I'm gonna have in a couple of years on my birthday Like8 more gears telling me to get my gecko so I'm gonna have 2 animals in the house a bearded dragon and a used to call a gecko and then I'm gonna have a gecko in my house💗🐕😵😌
I think I have the powdered food I haven't looked at it yet have some stuff for geckos and I thought I was gonna get a gecko but my parents had a bearded dragon cause our ceiling there would be high up and it thought would probably climb up there🤗😅It's really hard to have a bearded dragon there are need a lot of attention😩
