Will offer to add $150 to your account but, he needs to verify ur account by getting personal info. Uber said Uber will never call u or ask for info on phone. Too little on the Vids re this problem. Renting an EV is extremely expensive and not worth it. It only makes sense short term if you’re saving up money to buy your own car. Either go with a hybrid like a Toyota Prius for the biggest bang for your buck, or buy a Tesla model 3. In some instances, a Tesla can be way cheaper than any other vehicle. Renting a Tesla is around $440 a week in my market. That’s about $1740 a month!!! If you paid $1000 towards a Tesla car loan, you could pay off that car in under 2 years. It would still have some residual value that you could pocket. Don’t let them fool you with the “everything is included” notion. Sure, you don’t wear out your own car, but you’re paying a hefty premium to use Hertz’s car. If you do the math on how many hours you have to work before you’re profitable, factor in the hours that you have to work, & then electricity, you’re making minimum wage. I own my own Tesla and I make $1400-1500 a week working 50-60 hours a week. I will pay off my Tesla in 1.5 years. I also got the $7500 credit. I also charge at home, which is crucial for maximizing profit as much as possible. It’s not for everyone. My next option would be a hybrid or a Tesla wasn’t an option.
This video failed to explain that car payment is for 60-70 months and as a full time Uber/Lyft driver your going to put at least 8k-9k miles on the Tesla every month. This video also fails to explain the Tesla will be out of warranty within the first 12 months of ownership with a full time Uber/Lyft driver. The best and ONLY car a full time Uber/Lyft driver should purchase new is a Prius or Camry. The Honda Accord is a good car as well and would round it my top 3 cars for Uber driving full time. NEVER purchase the Tesla used or new it's DEFINITELY not a car that's practical for Uber/Lyft driving full time. I also have to MENTION with the Tesla you'll be watching your life disappear having to fast charge at least 2-3 times a day or every 3-4 hours. This will definitely turn your 8 hour shift into a 10 hour shift every time and there's no way around it. I'm a full time Uber driver in Orlando, Florida and I've rented the Tesla for 4 months straight. I was making $2,100-$2,500 per week driving my personal gas car driving the full 12 hours per daily shift that Uber allows. I'm the Tesla in making $1,700-$1,850 per week and this is due to the constant 45 minutes per charge and charging at least 2-3 times per 12 hour shift. Whoever believes Tesla is the car to use for ride sharing is an idiot 😔
You’re in Florida none of the numbers you mentioned can be compared to my market hence the reason I always remind everyone what my market is (Los Angeles California) I had been around teslas since 2013 I can tell you what they can and can’t do . If a driver that knows what he or she is doing in Los Angeles with a long range model 3 that have to charge just 2 times a day I can assure you thats a $400 plus day and if a 3 charge is needed like you mentioned 3 times thats over 14 hours and again the numbers in the hands of a driver that knows the market are nowhere near as yours in Florida we don’t have to drive the insane amount of miles and do as many trips as some Florida drivers do I keep in touch with drivers all over Florida I don’t need to make stuff up . If you put 50k miles on a new model 3 the first year ill say you can easily do the 120k in 2 years and by the time you hit 120k with daily charging you still can easily put another 50k on top of that and see a 10 maybe 15 percent degradation. At that point you should have made more than enough to dump the car . You can probably trick and confuse new tesla non experienced driver but again anyone who knows this cars and what their doing in my market would have totally different numbers than any other market .
Here in it's Orlando is $385 a week plus the cost of charging. I drive full time 10-12 hours daily & I'm charging 2-3 times a day at $15.00 per charging session. That's $345 a week just in fuel COST. So $385 a week for the rental plus $345 for the fuel COST for the week = $730 a week to rent the Tesla with Hertz/Uber rental program. That's $2,900 a month total for the Tesla rental. Keep in mind I do make $300.00 per day doing this and not everyone's going to make that amount of money 8k-9k per month. My monthly take home is between $6k-$7k It's it with it? Absolutely not considering Hertz will force you to take the car into pep boys out tire kingdom for a maintenance inspection every 6k miles and the inspection takes about 2-4 hours to complete as they rotate the tires and do some other shit to the car. If you don't have the inspection done on time Hertz will make you wait two week before they'll rent you another car. FYI when using a credit card Hertz will charge the $385 to the credit card and won't release the hold, even if you pay the credit card charge in full it means nothing as at the end of the month Hertz will pull all money owed $385 a week for 4 weeks plus the fuel charging fee for the entire 4 weeks all at once. It's a dirty racket on a massive scale. Public service announcement "Go to Avis or any other rental company in your area that's been approved for Uber rentals and run away from Hertz"!!
Sounds like they gave you good trips so they would ensure that you pay for the rental. Did your net profit stay the same after the lowers trips + no rental charges ?

They show it’s 18 mile trip and you drive and at end of trip it says it was only 14 miles.. I check trip back to pick up and it was really 18 miles. So they cheat me on the real miles driven

Y'all are not talking about the "over flow of new immigrants" that are now close to 80% of the workforce. Look around, not alot of American drivers on UBER/LYFT platforms. I'm a driver for a very long time with almost 20,000 trips. My car broke down here in Texas so I had to catch a few Uber's and all of them didn't speak english. I spoke to them and I was told that ALOT of new drivers don't have papers. Alot of immigrants live in a place with 8-10 immigrants working for what ever they can get. Uber has taken advantage of this and pays out $2-3 trips become they know for a fact that those immigrants are going to take them ALL. DAY. LONG. So, yes, Uber/Lyft are doing a awesome job pushing us Americans drivers away so Uber/Lyft can steal more from illegals. Immigrants are not going to protest or fight Uber/Lyft because they're not even suppose to be on the app and especially in America. I've driven in San Antonio, Houston, Austin and Dallas/Fort Worth. I've seen it with my own eyes and spoken to other drivers everything that I just mentioned. Y'all need to do a story about this immigrants crisis and how immigrants are taking over the rideshare platform where years back, American drivers were 90% and 10% were immigrants. But, with the low pay, American drivers went back to work because they are LEGIT and have American birth certificates and s.s numbers. Immigrants don't have none of that shit but they have found many ways around it. A low pay back in the day was $5-7 but now with the over flow of illegal immigrants on the platform, low pay is $2-3 with immigrants being the ONLY ONES ACCEPTING THIS BULLSHIT RIDES. Before the year is over, we will sadly see $1-1.75 trips for 15 minutes because immigrants are thinking this is a hook up because it's way more than they make in their country. We all have families and children and special need daughters and sons to work for and pay their medical bills. But, Dara, not UBER, DARA KHOSROWSHAHI rather be the bad guy who's suppose to be a genius but rather he's much more evil. And, blesses go to those who fight against a new evil in "technology crimes" involving deception, exploitation, and theft. Dara stole millions of dollars from New York drivers. So, what, New York was the only place they stole hundreds of millions from??? Greed doesn't stop when someone sleeps. Don’t even think about doing black or lux, there is not enough high end riders out there and you’ll be coming out of pocket every month negative. People on you tube trying to sell private driver courses and black driver etc. that’s a thing of the past. Too many black drivers and not enough riders in 2024. I’m done with Black tried it for a year and it was good for three months,after that I was negative every month!
Thank you for telling the truth. I do private rides, and my clients are cutting back traveling a lot. I see that economy plays a big factor in this and is only going to get worse. I heard that some of the Lux drivers are becoming black drivers, so the amount fares that are profitable are thinning out.
Here in LA must riders are more willing to pay the driver directly cause fares had gone up too much . What used to be a $50 one way ride with my wife for a couple of drinks on the weekends is now sometimes upwards of $70 plus a tip .
Wherever you live I called the new crews all over the United States to different news crews contact them about our Valentine day striks contact them to let them know we for real. A lot of them want to interview their local drivers. We got to drive this ppl. I was on the phone 3 hours I told them to follow this channel. UberJeepAZ our numbers continue to grow on this channel so they can see thousands of drivers who will participate in the strike. This way ppl who don't follow RU-vid or social media can find out. absolutely if you know what you’re doing if you’re taking opportunities scheduled rides and reservations you can do $24 a ride average only have to take 10 rides and go home that’s what I’m doing but I am 100% acceptance rate 0% cancellation and a five star driver was 10,000 rides so I think I know just a little bit about Uber I don’t work for Uber Uber. It works for me so there you go make it happen if you want to work work if you don’t sit on the RU-vid microphone, and set up the house I work from home myself I’ll take all of Maroge directly from my house. @@Poppinoffchannel the first video I posted here its a bit long but describes what happened after I returned the rental and started using my own tesla . it only took a day and a half for me to notice all the changes they pretty much spent a few months not sending the same trips anymore . the few drivers I know that are renting now are also telling me its been harder to make it worth it .

With low fares and traffic, there is no chance to make real money. You have to own your car to see some profits. Do you see profit since you bought your tesla?
A tesla costs more to rent and has an inferior mpg equivalent to a Prius. That's two consecutive deal breakers for anyone who rideshares to make money. What else, in the name of Baby Jesus, is there to discuss?
When Lux went away, I only do Lyft when it surges and Uber has kicked me off for driving too long LOL! Or if Lyft is slow, but I only do $2 per mile, and I stick to that religiously. So Lyft has to send $10 surge for me to accept any trip, and usually it happens, but not always The focus is Uber because when they surge, they surge HIGHER than Lyft
Lyft here in LA barely ever surges to a number that’s worth driving in the other day when they had that issue with the payment system was the only day I had seen surges literally all over LA with some places well over $10
