Dear sir, recently I have purchased a incentive Spirometer of Romsons to treat my COPD. As per instructions manual inspiration/ inhale should be done slowly and deeply. But in RU-vid vedios of different doctor / physiotherapist some of them doing inhaling rapidly so that suddenly three balls go upwards and touches up. I can also do like that. But I think it is not proper method ( rapid inhaling) to use spirometer for exercises. I do inhaling slowly and deeply and I can lift 2 balls for 3 seconds. Is it right? Please clarify the confusion. Thank you sir
Hi Ruchita, I suggest you focus on long deep breathing first. Steps: take a long breath in from the nose over 4 seconds, hold it in for 2 seconds and then breathe out over 4-7 seconds. Do it for 60 seconds. Focus on this. Do it pre-breakfast, lunch and dinner.
I would still stop him, bcz the good the 4000 steps would do is very tiny benifut when compared to the overall health damage liver damage lungs stress the smoking causes ... I will whip his ass off to start the gym with me... This is a bull shit benifit.. Only a mentally disordered wud think the way u r thinking.. Whats wrong with the world now a days.. 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️

Hey Nitin. I have run in bad weather or when it's been raining heavily. I wouldn't recommend then. A few reasons. When there is too much on the ground, you have no clue if there is a manhole you are stepping into or if live electric wires have broken and fallen into the water. Both extremely dangerous situations. Also, lightening is a major issue as you can be fried alive. Light rain is not much of a problem. In any case, make sure you make yourself very visible, don't wear dark clothes and be on the side opposing the traffic so even if they don't see you, can take measures to get out of their way.
Dear Dr Saab:Many thanks for valuable and Guidance on Continuous Health Education for People's Wellness enabling us to be more Efficient and Productive. Regards. Jai Singh
Hi Dental :) I should do a video about this. But in brief, put aside 4-6 months for this. Focus on strength, nutrition and ToF (Time on Feet). Don't try increase distance and speed at the same time. First focus on the distance. Speed will follow. Keep miling and smiling. Rajat
Hey Abhijeet, 2 things to consider. Why did it happen and what to do now. 1. Why: started too quick, low on electrolytes or energy food, ran too quick than had trained for etc. Try addressing before this happens, that's the best way to approach it 2. What now: slow down and stretch. Walk, if it helps.
