To order the book ‘MoveMint Medicine’ amzn.to/3pAuMlU
A decade ago I got away with using 'arse' (Get Off Your Arse) in Mint business newspaper, without realising that this association would last so long.
Friends told me that I was risking a reputation that had taken me more than a decade to build. That I needed to be careful using such slangs. I was utterly buttery con-fused and am-used.
On searching for the phrase today, found that Cambridge Dictionary describes ‘Get Off Your Arse’ as ‘a rude phrase meaning to force yourself to start doing something or to make yourself hurry: Tell him to get off his arse and do some work for once.’
Either we can be apologetic and be in denial, or we can appreciate that we all have a cute backside, and we need to get off it, to be our better selves and to make our arses even cuter.
Later this month, our book 'MoveMINT Medicine' will be released, published by Penguin, with GOYA (Get Off Your Arse) & SOYA (Sit On Your Arse & Sleep in Hindi) on its cover.
