So idk man, ive been a professional painter for close to 15 years...wash the flippin soffits that doesnt make sense to not wash... Hack move... i always use a bonding primer(extreme bonding primer) just do a light "piss" coat over all the vinyl before spraying finish BECAUSE its not about warping... i havent ever dealt with that... its bubbling a year or 2 or 3 later... Adhesion problems... And if your going to be a painter, look professional...wear white... you look like the typical hack handyman painter... "Oh im using Super Paint" Its not that great of a product man
10:55 why put the painted side against the ceiling? Would it not be easier to put the turquoise side outward? I don’t mind if my garage was all turquoise😂😂 I guess nowadays they have all different colors already applied to the panels ❤❤❤ thank you very much for the tutorial❤❤❤
@@TheHandyNeighbor 🤔 isn’t turquoise a blue color? ❤️ IMHO and FYI - the “green” side is already prepared to be painted white or any other color, the other side is raw and absorbs/eats paint
i just finished a room with glue down. the floor is unlevel. I'd have to completely refinish the floor with leveler to get it level. The glue down molds to the floor and works great.
I made the mistake of using faced R13 with 6mil ply sheeting in my bathroom and kitchen and now I think I'm going to have to tear it out bcuz everyone says in a hot climate like I'm in all year long that I shouldn't have done that. Thoughts?
You don’t gotta worry about accidentally getting off track and causing even more problems trying to save your self cents in tape and seconds in time. I’m sure he’s good enough to do it without it and he’s messed up 1 time out of 100 times of doing it good. Not worth it being wrong even just 1/100. Better to be right 100 percent of time taking couple seconds to do this
I've pressure washed 2 exteriors so far, and yes, a lot of dirt came out of the soffit, and I had to spray quite a bit. But it was definitely cleaner in the end. Am i missing something else?
@@nimster64 you can still use the same glue. This thing is sticky as hell. Thanks! I would go directly on concrete with vinyl I would not add any underlayment.
@@TheHandyNeighbor thank you the subfloor is 3/4 plywood. And ontop of the 3/4 I was going to add the 1/4” plywood underlayment. I don’t have concrete. It is a raised sunroom in Chicago
Very nice job! If one of the tiles gets damaged later, can the damaged tile be removed by a heat gun? I know peel and stick can but will this type of glue soften with heat? Liked/Subbed.
@@TheHandyNeighborthanks.. I actually was looking for insulating the garage door. I saw your video and it's insulting the walls... is there any insulation you can suggest for garage doors please? Or any other video you made for garage doors?
