I have dji goggles 3 but they don't support o3 air unit, but even if they did, the price of an o3 unit is almost half of a Walksnail x with moonlight air unit. My question is, how people come to a conclusion that the dji o3 penetration is better than the Walksnail? Penetration depends on frequency, not power, and both have the same 5ghz frequencies. Could it the difference in antennae type?
Both the shown and latest released configurator do not feature a master multiplier slider, is there a specific reason? Isn't this needed to compensate inertia to power ratio? :)
I don't like eztune, i think it's no brain fonctionnality.. too basic for a good tune.... why not implement slider like in betaflight ? Just for pid and avoid calculate...
I think both have a place. EZ-tune for the average user. Check , done. Now the missing part , sliders in the non-eztune mode like betaflight for the advanced users using stuff like pidtoolbox to get the absolute best tunes. Mainly the master slider is seriously missing if you have found your P/D balance etc. So come on Pawel, you are almost there with your amaing work, just give us this last much requested bit ;-) . (and of course these sliders have to be available in the OSD for in flight tuning). Other than that inav is almost perfect ;-)
The issue with wing structures is that they are grossly inefficient if not contributing to lift. You would be better to have two prop like wings that can fan out. There's a video on YT by Airlab where they have a wing structure that expands (called FROW). Otherwise, why not build the rotor blades internal to the arms so airflow isn't restricted - and the arm architecture can be widened (and shaped) so as to act as a brake in descent? Almost like a starfish which is quite like some plankton, the plankton is shaped like a starfish with wide underside but pointed, more hydrodynamically efficient topside, so plankton can rise easily but sink slowly. And 5 arms might be better than 4, you can use smaller props, and could be more responsive and maneuverable.
people are completely stupid, instead of making a regular video where at least you can choose the quality, you have to make shorts for idiots in which nothing is clear. such channels fly away immediately "do not offer more"
Hey man, I have the hglrc one but it takes about 5 min to get 6 satellites when flying in an open field. How far should it be from the vtx antenna? (Mine is only 5mm or so away, with twisted wires but no shielding)
I would think the point of this is to do inverted yaw spins...like you're just floating. lol The entire point I would think is to do sbang....give it to an sbang pilot to see if they can do some incredible shit. lol
Do you know about the mini qbit? He had the best build and it all worked out. The main revelation of his build was that he had the i term on a slider switch so he could bring it down when he was flying in forward flight and eliminate the wobbles.
Captivating! You mention a percentage, but I guess the braking effect will be more pronounced the faster your craft falls at any given moment, as air resistance is a logarithmic function of speed?
Thanks Pawel. To clarify- Does your receiver have to be putting in SBUS into the flight controller for this to work? Or can you have ELRS/crossfire (using CRSF protocol) receiver and still get SBUS out via one of the UART TX pins?
Reminds me of playing spyro riptos rage on ps1 and gliding through the air. Good times... man i miss when i had no idea who biden was and was just living life.
Surprise - drones have wings - they are rotary wings. Which is an official and accepted term for a "horizontal propeller" whose lift is used perpendicular to the direction of travel. Thats why you have two major classifications of aircraft - Fixed wing and Rotary wing. What this video is demonstrating is NOT a wing. Giving this video the most benefit of doubt, this video could be demonstrating 'spoilers' or, more accurately an air brake. Pawel - please learn and use correct aeronautics terminology
i think it would maybe, I say maybe be better, if deployed wings wouldnt go flat. Maybe if they would have some pitch depending on position for example if drone goes inverted they should be pitched down and oposite when in niormal position? hmmm
Dihedral makes it self level and more stable....but in this case the wing load is so high it won't create lift....it would need to be alot wider and angle of attack would play a huge factor
you can buy cheaper camera from foxeer (FT256), 500$ + tax, it's 256x192 50fps camera, but it's very limited, it supports only white hot and there isn't any posibility for picture in picture. Second posibility is INFIRAY P2 Pro + Raspberry, it need lot of DYI. I like that IR-Cam works out of box and mainly it has manual!!! For lot of thermal modules from china I was not able to find any datasheet or manual, even pinout was secret. IR-Cam is super cool product, picture in picture, can be controlled from Inav, lot of settings, mainly more colour profiles, developed in europe. I really like it.
