Hello. Welcome to my RU-vid Channel. I always like making stuff DIY as a past time and hobby. I would like to share with you some of the work I am doing with my motorcycles, home repairs, a lot of other DIY stuff, and my day to day work in Oilfield inspection. I hope you like my videos and please share, like, comment, and subscribe. Thank you very much! Maraming salamat po!
Correct, it is too heavy that at first it did not fly at all. That is why I have to cut some portion of the wing to reduce weight. Also agree that the canard is too big. I just randomly cut triangular shape and tried it out. The powerup kit is very versatile and forgiving. It has the ability to compensate for less-than-ideal design and make it fly. In fact, it can even make a lettuce fly.
How is the air going from the blue gun to the yellow tubing? It does not seem like they are connected in any way that would make that possible, at least to me? Did I miss a step where you cut a hole in the bent yellow PVC pipe and made a connection between it and the blue gun???? Or is the metal and black material connection at the bottom of the blue gun part not for an air compressor but just electricity? An electrical cable, I mean? If so, I have NEVER seen that connected via something that looks so much like an air pump metal connection.
I would love to recreate the PCB from scratch, too, some day, so I can possibly make a powder coating gun but from cpmplete scratch using 3D printed parts. Do you have some images of the PCB itself, from before you wired, and maybe one with wiring added too?
Yes. I had 2 videos showing the PCB and circuit diagram. You can go to the playlist to look for it. I want to put the link here but it's not easy on my phone.
You forgot how to show how the electronics inside of the blue gun (the former soldering iron) were wired, including the wiring onto the connector of the air compressor feed system... :/ That makes this video a little less useful for most people, I am afraid. Do you have photos? A separate video? Wiring diagrams or drawings? Something you can show us and help us continue in our recreation? :)
All those details are well documented in separate videos. You can look at the playlist on my channel. I posted these videos as I made and experimented on the various parts of the powder coating system for the first time. It's not like I'm an experienced manufacturer of these equipment that I can produce an all-in-one video in one go.
In residential areas you will not see those wires exposed. We have electrical equipment at work in remote location so we will have ground rods staked to the soil near the equipment, and of course the termination and the actual metal rod is exposed.
Thanks. It is not the usual bolt-in and bolt-out fix because apparently the bolts don't come out easily on this particular bike because of previous thread damage. And so I thought it is a good idea for a video.
Hi. Yes, the first one could be LM324 general purpose op amp. The second one could be LM311 comparator. I know it is a comparator instead of an ordinary op-amp because the output is an open collector. So the output is either 0 volts and open.
Nice modification, ang Ganda ng dating. Meron Ako dt 125 1997 model 2lad ng sau, mtagal ko ng gusto i modified Yun dt ko,, pwede kea ma modified UN dt ko 2lad ng sau at san kea? Ty.
Thank you. The rope-to-rope transfer in this situation is more intimidating than what we did during training because of the height and in open seas, there is also gust of wind.
Greetings from Japan 🇯🇵, the homeland of Yamaha. Your explanatory video was very helpful. I'm glad that Yamaha's two-stroke engines developed in Japan are still in use in Thailand 🇹🇭. I overhauled an Autolube oil pump, but I encountered a symptom where oil was leaking from the plunger shaft little by little when the engine was running, even though there was nothing wrong with it when the car was stopped. However, your explanation from 4:35 helped me realize that the deterioration of the oil seal on the oil pump output shaft of the clutch cover may have caused the oil in the oil pump to be pressurized by the primary compression pressure leak, causing the oil to leak from the plunger shaft. The oil seal on the plunger shaft is very small and is a springless single lip seal, so it won't leak if you pressurize it by holding the shaft in your mouth and blowing into it, but it seems that it couldn't withstand the primary compression pressure leak of a two-stroke engine. If the clutch cover oil seal is leaking, when adjusting the minimum stroke of the Autolube oil pump, a small amount of oil will leak out from the pulley shaft like bubbles. This is the lesson I learned: when overhauling the oil pump due to an oil leak, it is always better to replace the clutch cover oil seal as well.
Hi @kes7774. You are correct about replacing the clutch cover side oil seal. The Yamaha DT air cooled 2 stroke bike is a wonder of Japanese engineering. It is already discontinued and we cannot buy it new here in South East Asia but I know it is still sold as new bike in Africa. I cannot think of any other two stroke bike model that has been sold for so long time and in many parts of the world as the Yamaha DT.
Hi. I am not sure what cooking stove module you have. Can you give more details? There is a high voltage generator on some gas stove that is used to create spark that ignite the gas. If it have DC output then it can potentially supply high voltage electrostatic charge.
