Almost all of the shots of planes shot down were of Hurricanes, one of which had just collided deliberately with a Dornier Do-17 bomber. Another was one hit during a convoy protection sortie over the Dover straights, and ends with the pilot parachuting and the Hurricane crashing in the channel. Some pre-war shots of aerobatic planes, and a few shots from a German newsreel showing a Spitfire being shot at from behind.
Great job sir! Could you tell me what is the press fit tolerance for the exhaust valve guides to the cylinder on the Lycoming O-360 engine? Thanks in advance.
It's actually called THE ABC OF JET PROPULSION and is roughly 18 minutes long! Made by GM! It says at the beginning of the film,"This film is one of a series based on the General Motors book - A Power Primer!" Don't know exactly when it's made but the 60s is a safe bet I guess... Got a 16mm print so that's how I know...
Anyone who's performed extensive metal forming knows that these guys are really amateur. Even looking at medieval armour recreation on youtube and you'll see more professional work. And they're not even making things that peoples lives will depend on.
@@77Avadon77 you said “they’re not even making things that people’s lives will depend on”…. If people don’t depend on wing ribs for their lives, then what do they depend on?
