Fellow Aussie here. I also laugh like a teenage boy when I hear someone call it a fanny pack. Can you please drop a link to the heavy duty mag hooks? I ordered some but they’re not going to be at all strong enough for anything other than a hat or the lanyards. Looking for the strong bois to hang my over door compartment hanger & the clothes line.
I know… it’s actually hilarious. 🤣 I bought these years ago I think off eBay. Check out Bunnings though, I was just there. They have a large range and then just go for the strongest ones they have.

Thanks for watching. From memory it was very limited. There was a shelf about the fridge and under the TV which is where we charged everything. I’ll be back onboard next month and will make a point to include that.
The pink lady is what she’s known as. I talked to a PP when I was on board the celebration a few weeks ago. Can’t wait to sail on her again in February next year ❤🎉

We were on the inaugural cruise and they had the mickey bars. It was our 1st Disney cruise. We are going on our 2nd Disney Cruise on 17th Nov 24. It's a 3 nighter to nowhere from Melbourne.
Thanks for watching. We spoke to the crew about it. They said the earlier cruises had it but they couldn’t get it in Australia so the rest of the sailings had magnums. I must admit, I was kind of tempted seeing some deals but our bank account and current cruise schedule doesn’t quite allow for another Disney Cruise at this stage.
Went for a 3 day country cruise with Pacific Explorer last August 19, 2024..was a good experience 😊 just wondering if there's anyone here in that cruise who remembered the male singer who's got a really good voice😂
Not all rooms are updated. On the Splendor right now, level 8 balcony. No usb ports in the room 😡 No new carpet either. Also no playlist shows at all on the cruise. 9 night Great Barrier reef cruise. Very disappointed. Thought things were meant to be getting better 🤦
What!? Really? Omg. We will be staying on Deck 8 in 2 weeks so that will be interesting. No playlist cast!?? Something had to have gone wrong for that to happen. That’s so disappointing.
@@CruiseCrazedFam So apparently Playlist cast haven't performed yet because of the turbulent seas. They are scheduled to perform 3 times prior to the end of the cruise.
@@robbariffic that makes sense. Always safety first for the cast members. Hopefully the conditions ease up for you so that you can enjoy the full experience properly. I’m surprised you didn’t get the upgrades in your cabin though.
Came off the Splendor for our first cruise on the 18/9, rough as guts for the sail home and a heap of gastro. Will be interesting to hear your thoughts since the upgrades.
I definitely want to try Lumi as a comparison to Splendor, I think I will like Splendor more however I’m sure I will have just as much fun, and it would be cool to sail away out of Brisbane for a change
I guess it depends on the ship and the crew. We enjoyed the food on Pacific Explorer in February but it won’t be the Carnival experience. I’m keen to see how different it is.
It would take an almost total rebuild of the 'Splendor' to get rid of the hideous decor on this ship. Painting a few things, laying some new (ugly) carpet and moving some things around won't change the fact that the Carnival Splendor is renowned in the cruise industry for its awful interiors. Then they insult passengers by removing former included food and adding more pay for food.

Great review, I agree with the extra charges for chips, hotdogs, pizza is a rip off, fine for adults but makes it hard when you have kids and they see other kids eating it.
That was crazy at the start, don’t know what happened, fun chat with the DuC’s and look forward to it again, building that cruise community here in Australia
Interesting that you have noted the fresh juice menu is actually available on the Luminosa. I looked hard when I was looking for the right ship and didn’t find that info anywhere! I know there are some people like myself who choose Splendor for this reason. This opens up another option, fantastic!
We're going on the 80's theme 3-night cruise in a few days (Sep 20) from Auckland, NZ which is our first since the end of 2019 when we did a Xmas cruise on Princess which was better than P&O. We have cruised on P&O before on the retired Pacific Jewel. We have bought a non-alcohol drinks package including coffee for this 3-day cruise. Looking forward to it. We do hope Carnival do some Auckland themed cruises once they absorb P&O or at least longer sailings from Auckland. Time will tell.

I love my Indian food and I have it at least once every cruise and can't wait to try Carnival Luminosa next month it is the first time I have been on Carnival
