Regardless of a person having responsibility for why they are on the streets, i hate to see anyone laying on the sidewalks or sleeping in a doorway while ppl just walk about them, it just doesnt sit right with me. Its inhumane. Theres plenty of money in this world, they shouldn' t be in the streets , but due to greed this is a human beings reality.

Saw him and his wife on the corner of Swanston and Bourke one random Friday night. Had a huge crowd around and everyone was truly captivated at the performance. Heaps of people recording clips on their phones. The chance encounter was very memorable and I can only hope that many more people can get the chance to experience this trio.

If l seen him when l go to Melbourne l would buy a painting from him. I pray he finds a way off the streets. People shouldn’t judge him his honest telling his story no one knows unless they walked in his shoes. His got a good heart l can see this with him. God bless him 🙏❤️
It breaks my heart to hear that he called himself a 'guard dog' for sleeping outside the restaurant. Even if is a joke, is not funny that someone can actually identified themself as that. Has anybody seen him recently?
😔 Must be hard to be far of family. We are so silly that us system have not provide, roof, nice bed , nutrient food, clean clothes, education and job for every human being.
As a Christian if I had a lot on my pocket and had unit I would help this guy in heart beat it brokes my heart to see this good bloke on the street with noting no shelter no clothing no bed to sleep no food it's so sad 😭

So how come there's so many people here saying this bloke is great but nobody is willing to offer him a rental property somewhere? Bloody do something for this guy. If I was back in Melbourne I would find him a unit and pay the first months rent and get him in there so he could look for a job and start over!
Well I'll let you in on something, Adelaide has lots of homeless people too and guess what, nobody in Adelaide gives a rats arse about them. Not the locals or the government. So if anyone tells you Melbourne is a cold heartless terrible place to be, tell them to wise up and understand that its not a Melbourne problem, its a human problem. Australians couldn't care less about strangers. The state governments should be offering homeless people unused rental properties. These people deserve to have a roof over their head and a job to go to.
So he gets a commission home, then what? burns that down too these folk are a dime a dozen in the CBD hovering about flinders, just look at the arms(track marks) until the smack is out his life he will stay there.
