Welcome to Randomised Gaming, this is our supporting RU-vid channel to our tumblr gaming blog. Our videos are designed to showcase the huge variety of video games available to buy from both the domestic and import markets, both modern and retro.
The aim of Randomised Gaming is to review games at random, as chosen by a randomiser website. To help us with our goal, we create high quality video content to support our reviews. As a result all our videos use HD or higher and are captured directly from the original consoles where possible. Emulators simply don't provide an accurate representation of many systems and we avoid them when possible. Being able to capture from original consoles allows us to showcase games not normally shown on RU-vid.

Hey, sorry to bug you with this, but was it a simple thing to get rid of the line down the center of the screen(for the dual arcade screens), assuming you're also emulating it through MAME? 90% of the videos on YT with this game are clean, without that divide and I just cannot figure out how they did it
Indeed we are looking at that one and a couple of other games like Deep Black that have been delisted on PC and other platforms to see what they are like as there are a few of them only left to buy for a few days on Xbox 360.
thankfully modern games now run at the intended speed but it was a real problem if you were unfortunate enough to witness the better differences of NTSC games. I bought an import N64 on the strength of seeing Waverace 64 on an NTSC machine because the appallingly slow speed differences meant a lot of the authentic feel of smashing through waves was reduced to feeling like you were on the moon. The only benefit to pal was that it had more lines and this meant a better picture but of course 17% slower as well. Thankfully no longer a problem but yeah if getting a Saturn, Ps1, N64, Snes, Megadrive etc then you really are missing the intended experience if playing by pal
@@RandomisedGamingRU-vid I really regret going digital. The 360 was my intro to buying digital games. Although even with physical what can you do about dlc. I have gone back to buying Blu-rays. But for gaming it sucks because there aren't any more true physical options except for the switch I guess 🤔. I need to know that I can play complete games even without the internet. Such sad times.
You need to make sure they appear in your download history, so for example of you buy a season pass you must have downloaded all the linked DLC before the shutdown. The download history function will still be available after the store closes so you can download the titles you previously purchased for now.
As explained above on purchase of a season pass only the pass itself will show as purchased until downloaded the linked DLC. For Games and standard DLC should show after purchase, but we recommend you review your own download history to double check. As we can't be 100% sure. It's good practice to review your download history after buying something to be safe.

Just got call of duty classic on July 21. It does work in the U.S. xbox 360. I’ve been buying stuff that l’m interested on. I will update if anything else pops up
For clarity, if I only intend on playing backwards compatible games such as AC Brotherhood or Borderlands 2 on an Xbox one going forward, do I need to care about claiming/downloading extras?
Almost all DLCs for Xbox 360 games that are supported on Xbox One are available to buy in the One/Series store. A few DLCs like N+ and Lost Planet 2 are for sale on Xbox 360, but not the one, despite the game supporting back catalogue. A few like the Wizard's Tower for Elder scrolls Oblivion error when you try to buy them in the One store. Game's like Assassin Creed II have remastered versions on Xbox One that includes all the Xbox 360 DLC.
The issue is even with discs, the consoles only last for so many years. My 360 wont even turn on anymore, so i have dozens of usless discs now. Going 100% GOG from now on.
Yes repairing console is something we will all have to face, our disc drive for the console totally failed and we had to get a replacement laser. In order to do this we had to get a matching disc drive model.
In the mid 90s, there was a Blockbuster store pretty close by, and they had games available to rent. One of the games I rented was Theme Park for the Megadrive, and I absolutely adored it at the time. :D
6:20 are you just saying don’t redownload avatar content from the download list, or should I also avoid buying avatar content that is still available in the store?
We would recommend you avoid buying any more, but it is all up to you. It all downloads to your avatar dress up apps and ours is super slow owning to all the free games clothing we unlocked.
Hey, some more recent marketplace finds I've made. South Park Stick of Truth and its DLC are Backwards Compatible but the DLC is only purchasable on the Xbox 360 Marketplace. Lost Planet 2 Has a map pack that id only purchasable on the 360 marketplace. The other 2 DLCs are still available on Xbox One. Old Need for Speed games Carbon and Undercover each have some DLC still available but needs to be earched for manually MUD Motocross has DLC that can be still be purchased on the Xbox 360 and searched for manually. Magic 2015 DLC "Garrucks Revenge" can still be grabbed on the UK marketplace. Its free WRC4 is still available digitally on the UK xbox marketplace. Not in America, Japan, or German storefronts. Armored Vore V has a DLC available on the UK store and a compatibility pack. All 70 micro transaction type dlc on the Japanese store. And is fully Delisted on the US store. Armored Core for Answer is available digitally on the Japanese store and nowhere else. "Nat Geo Quiz: Wildlife" has a DLC thats still available in the UK store if you search fir it manually. This DLC has achievements associated with it and will be required for completion. Battle vs Chess has some DLC on the German Marketplace worth looking into Redeemed a Fable 3 code that came with a used game. The DLC was not added to my download history on 360 but was made installable on xbox one under manage game. Very strange... There's probably more, I'll comment again if i remember.
Cheers for the information, we been research some issues for our next video will post here quickly to add to your post. All of these where see in the UK store: Scene It? Box Office Smash has DLC you can buy, but doesn't show in A-Z, so needs manual search Mars Rover Landing a free game for Kinect only shows in search now, so grab now Kinect Fun Labs another free game is still up for downloading as our most of the DLCs, however the base can only appears as an add-on. Once downloaded in order to run it, you have to bring up the guide in the Games & Apps Section, select recent press RB twice for the all tab, then scroll down to it and press a to launch. Kinect Nat Geo TV, looks to require the media app for the retail disc version of the game to work. So make sure to download the app now, there is also the Kinect Playfit App as well and a few others worth looking it. Risen 2 in the UK has The Air Temple DLC listed twice a paid and a free one on the Xbox One store. The free one is a link to the original download if you redeem the in box code on the 360. However, if you download the free version from the Xbox One it will add it to your Xbox 360 history. Fatal Fury Special & Warriors: Legends of Troy both only show up in search, that was told to us by one of the Delisted Games people. Tron (original 1982 arcade) is search only as mentioned before.
I had no idea pins caused junk data to be stored on my system, right now I have one on NFS Undercover and that one is technically delisted since they have not fixed the sale.
I actually still love my Kinect sensor and am sad to see it ,and assumedly,VR ,but were talking about Xbox here so yeah, Kinect was an interesting, and occasionally,really well functioning, piece of tech. And thanks as well for the excellent video. Bye bye 360 online.
27:05 There is also a German version of Call of Duty Classic with it’s own achievement list. So if you care about achievements or stacks i would also grab that one.
The issue with COD Classic is its IP locked so all those reports are from peoples trying to buy the game from a different region than their and they run into this issue i personally had to use a VPN on my 360 to purchase it just recently.
We know some items are just broken in the store like the Wizard's Tower DLC on Xbox One, just can't be bought, even when in the correct matching region.
26:44 Grabbed by the Ghoulies is still available on the Xbox 360 and will be marked as owned on One/Series. Xbox Originals branded games that were only available on the Xbox 360 that have been delisted are Dreamfall: The Longest Journey, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Halo: Combat Evolved, Intellivision Lives! and Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulse. Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy has been delisted at least in the PAL regions, but is available in the regions where it’s name was Indigo Prophecy. Sid Meier’s Pirates won’t show as owned on the Xbox 360 if bought on the One/Series consoles.
@@RandomisedGamingRU-vid Those 5 games were Xbox Originals that were only backward compatible on the Xbox 360. Out of the 31 Xbox Originals games 19 only work on the Xbox 360 and 12 are ”Xbox One Forward Compatible” that work on all consoles. Dreamfall: The Longest Journey was only available in 12 countries. Intellivision Lives! was only released in the US. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas also wasn’t available everywhere. Out of the still available games Guilty Gear X2 Reload wasn’t released in the PAL regions, Sega Soccer Slam was only released in the US and Magatama and Puyo Pop Fever only in Japan (maybe some other Asian countries too). Then there are 39 games that became backward compatible after the Xbox 360 era and they also work on all consoles. It has 8 delisted games and you covered all of them in this video. Dead to Rights and The King of Fighters Neowave that are still available have not been released in PAL regions digitally at least. Also 11 original Xbox games were made backward compatible late in the bc program and they only work on the One/Series consoles.

Two noteworthy XBLA games that you should check out are Hydro Thunder Hurricane and Hard Corps: Uprising. The former is the sequel to Hydro Thunder, which is a classic boat racing game that was originally released for arcades, then it was ported to the Dreamcast, N64, PS1, and Windows (EU only). Simply put, it's a good game, and its presentation and gameplay make it look and feel like an arcade game from the mid 2000s. There is DLC for the game, which comes in the form of an expansion called the Tempest Pack. It adds in a few more boats, a few more race tracks, and even a new multiplayer mode, if I recall correctly. Thankfully, if you don't have enough money for the Tempest Pack right now, then you can buy the compatibility update for multiplayer, which is free. As for the latter, it's one of the more recent entries in the Contra series. It acts as a prequel to Contra 1 and Contra: Hard Corps, and similar to Kid Icarus: Uprising, it was also designed to act as a revival for the series during a time where it was constantly getting either terrible games or absolutely nothing, if I recall correctly. I've been really enjoying it, but its movement does take some getting used to, especially if you're more familiar with the first few Metal Slug games and similar run n' gun games. It does have DLC, which consists entirely of 3 additional characters (that are prominently featured in the game's opening): Harley Daniels, Leviathan, and Sayuri. Hard Corps: Uprising and Hydro Thunder Hurricane are accessible on X1/Series X, but right now is the best time to pick them up for the one system that they were originally designed for. Also, Hard Corps Uprising is available on PS3, but it came out within slightly less than a month after the X360 version was released, so the DLC might be included. Sorry for the wall of text, but I just wanted to let you know about these two.

Here is an interesting fact for you: Masquerade: The Baubles of Doom on the Xbox 360 has 30 achievements while the Xbox One version has only 21 achievements. The Xbox One version is MUCH easier to 100% because of the missing achievements.
That's a nice bit of trivia, might buy the 360 version as the camera seemed a bit smoother than the Xbox One version. Suspect the game may have started life as a Xbox 360 & PS3 game and the PS4 and One ports were started a bit later.
Two games that are hidden in the xbox live marketplace for U.S. (ntsc) are Fatal fury special $5 Warriors legends of troy $30 You have to type them in the search game engine for them to pop up. Hope this helps anyone that is interested.

Just to add another game to this list Kinect Fun Labs, is also still up to download on the service, but it can only be searched for and only shows up as an add-on in the store. Most of the Fun Labs games are still up to download and all bar two are free and three got delisted. But there is about seven still free to get. However accessing it on the console now is a bit tricky, it was an icon on the NXE dash. How you have to bring up the guide go to Games & Apps tab, select recent, then press RB twice to go to the all tab, then scrolling down (which) pending on how many games you have may take awhile and find Kinect Fun Labs then launch it, by pressing A.
Another great thorough video; I'm really glad you're able to finally get your refund! I currently cannot download the following Xbox 360 games on my Xbox 360 console: GTA IV, Midnight Club: Los Angeles Complete, Saints Row 2 and Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell - al games that were free with Games with Gold at one point and I redeemed them first on my Xbox One. I can download all these games on my Xbox One console without any issues. Interestingly, I was able to download other free Games with Gold such as Dirt 3, Grid 2, Kane & Lynch 2, Outland, Sniper Elite V2, SSX, Stuntman: Ignition and Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition that I believe I originally activated first on my Xbox One console but I don't remember well so I could be wrong. All these game do show up on my Xbox 360 download history so I haven't seen a case where games I originally bought or redeemed on my Xbox One first not appearing on my Xbox 360. Call of Duty Classic is an example of a game that I purchased a long time ago, it's not compatible with the Xbox One and I cannot download to my Xbox 360 which is very frustrating and preposterous. Additionally, I cannot buy Legend of Spyro and Gun from the Xbox 360 console even though I have more than enough store credit on my Microsoft Xbox account. I keep getting an error message that the game is region locked when these games are available in the US digital marketplace and I have an American account.
Thanks for the comment as always arioca, it does seems some items from the store are IP protect and others are not. It's looking like Call of Duty Classic is in a bit of a mess these days.
@@ariocaI think the reason you can't download Saint's Row Gat out of Hell is because there are two different versions of the game. There is an Xbox One version and a Xbox 360 version. I could be wrong, but you probably needed to download both versions when they were free. I don't think there was ever an issue when there is only one version of the game when the GWG program was active. For the other two games I have no idea why they won't download.
@@arioca well, if you can’t download those games you mentioned on the 360, the good thing is that that they are all backwards compatible. Except for the call of duty classic. People have been saying there’s a problem downloading it, but l’m not sure if it’s a region problem or the game itself. Look for youtube videos like this one and see if anyone can help with your problem
Caladrius has been ported to a number of other systems with the far superior Caladrius Blaze release. So no worries if you miss out on the original for xbox 360. For those wondering, you can mostly turn off all the ripping clothes sequences and play it as a pure shooter. MOSS, the team who made it, are behind the modern Raiden games. Caladrius' gameplay is rather similar to those, except with many more ships to choose from and a lot of shot types.
Yes, I mentioned the Blaze version in the previous video we covered it on, but didn't in this one. Should have included a quick reminder, but this is the only Xbox version.
Just checked store in USA... EA has pulled all thier games and majority of other big name company's have done the same... So gutted as I just checked a few days ago and downloaded all the DLC and demos that were still up and was gonna get a few 1.99 games today but all is lost now... A big middle finger to whackbox and all the other greedy gamer corporations for this shameless and inexcusable action! 🤬🤬🤬

@@mrturbo757 classic doom on the xbox 360 has been delisted years ago. There is a physical copy you can get that is backwards compatible. Also you can buy classic doom for the newest consoles, they just won’t be backwards compatible. The other games you mentioned are not ea games. Fable should still be purchaseable on the newest consoles. If not, try purchasing them on your phone or computer. Those games are still popping up here in chicago for me
@@mrturbo757Everything besides the Doom games are still available in Wisconsin. BTW you can still get Doom 1 & 2 in the Doom 3 BFG edition for the Xbox 360. Also, Make sure you are looking on an actual Xbox 360 in the On Demand section or Arcade A - Z

Riven here, If I get time to do another video, I'll add that as I do have that one. It was one on my possible list to include, but didn't make the cut in this video. I should really cover RayStorm HD also as that's the only Xbox port and includes content and extra ships not in the recent PS4 & 5 & Switch collection.

There are still plenty of arcade style games out there, but it's just a case of finding as they aren't the big budget titles. Even I'll admit I get a bit tired of some modern games that take two hours of intros, cutscenes, tutorials and slim starting gameplay sections, but you hit the actual main part of the game.
@@TheSamuraiGoomba I didn't pay attention to switch. I'm guilty : I had the wiiu. I got fed up wit this machine... What I don't know is if you can get perfect arcade games at 60 Hz? I know that the Switch is based on the nvidia shield TV , but I can see , on youtube here and there that the switch has some latency which is not good if you play shmups...( at least for me...)
@@TheFrenchy82 Latency depends upon the team doing the porting. Switch usually adds around 1 frame of actual lag due to hardware. The rest is down to setup or the porting work. Some teams have managed to port games to switch without adding any lag compared to the pc versions. Live Wire's Mushihimesama is an example that's always brought up. But most shmups I would say have around 1 frame of additional lag. So usually that means you go from 3 frames to 4, something like that. One frame is 1/60th of a second, so it's up to you if you think you can feel a one-frame difference or not. There are some infamously poor ports that have around 11 frames of input delay, but that's all down to how the games were ported, original hardware being laggy and the porting team not really caring about input delay.
All these games are sold in the UK where we are based, but yes as you correctly point out all digital games are region restricted on Xbox 360. The Japanese only Cyber Troopers Virtual On arcade release is one I would like. But trying to buy games from other regions is very tricky as you need a VPN to download content from another region and an account from that region with funds in it.
@@RandomisedGamingRU-vid in some cases, you also need a console that matches a region; for example if you want to buy NCAA MME, a US-restricted game, you need to have an NTSC console.
@@Wubsy96I bought it with my US profile when it came out 15 years ago and i only had a PAL console back then so it definitely works on a PAL console. I don’t remember if i bought it through the website or the console though.

I have a japanese 360 s and am sitting in Japan and I have been able to buy and download games from US, JP and EU stores with my three accounts. The only games I encountered that said no no were two Spyro games and Tornado something on the US store that apparently can only be played on a US 360 which doesn’t have anything to do with where you are accessing it but where the console comes from.
I've allowed you post to be published as it got held by RU-vid, but we know you are also incorrect as we have tried to download a number of Japanese games on a UK Xbox via a Japanese account and the download fails the confirmation check at the end due to the IP. Which is a know issue, many users have reported some DLCs and games may not run this check, but many do. So we can't tell our viewers to do it, as you are based in Japan there may be different region changes to the UK, so you may be able to download more. Quite a bit does appear to be region or even IP locked, based on comments from other users for this very video. We had two Japanese DLCs we could download, but other games we couldn't.
People (myself included) have been having issues buying Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 on the Xbox 360 store. It is supposed to be part of the sale but from what someone told me it is still at full price for Xbox One and causes an error when you try to buy it on the 360 store.
Thanks for letting us know, seems a few games don't let you buy them in the Xbox 360 store. We already own Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 and also have it on the retail disc so can't test if you can buy it or not. That might be another one with download issues as well then. A lot of the problems seem to be with games that later got back catalogue support.
there is a note about this on the xbox wire page: "Editor’s Note (July 12): We removed Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 from the lists below - it was included in error."

I could have sworn the Saturn version of Marvel super heroes used the 1MB cartridge. With the 4MB, the game only played faster but didn't unlock all the animation found in mirror matches. The only game I remember using the 4MB cartridge on was, Samurai Showdown 3. That game wouldn't run without it.
