Because yoshinkan aikido being used of japan police riot division. To teach so many personil , they break out the move of the technique step by step and focused for effectiveness. That's why in this style they used just a little circle moved, not like aikikai with a big circle. on purpose for the effectiveness. Like or not like it depends. In my opinion, aikikai much focused on the art and yoshinkan focused for the effectiveness. If you see the movies of Steven seagal is much different when he's in his dojo. In his movies you can see he applied the technique for the effectiveness.
Pawel Felisiak Sensei undoubtedly has an exemplary level of mastery of techniques and has exceptional balance and clarity. Please accept my sincere respect for your skill! Osu!
Okay, I’m baffled. I clicked in because I thought it was a Shodokan Aikido 5th dan test. . . Shudokan? Well, it’s definitely not Tomiki’s style - no 17 Kihon and no sparring. And, it’s not any style of Aikikai that I’ve seen - but, maybe? Yoshinkan?
Basically seamlessly blurring Aikido and Judo. The tenkan in particular is something you don't see as much in Judo, but it turns a committed attack into what is essentially a Judo throw very nicely, if executed correctly.
Not bad for shodan. Congratulations! It was interesting for me - to see the differences between polish and russian understanding of Yoshinkan, different models of trainings (inspite of common japanese standarts). On 13-th minute - sensey had found good exit from difficult situation with hiji shime ni :). And jiu waza surprised me especially - very long (3+1 sets), interesting and well-down.
