Okay, I’m baffled. I clicked in because I thought it was a Shodokan Aikido 5th dan test. . . Shudokan? Well, it’s definitely not Tomiki’s style - no 17 Kihon and no sparring. And, it’s not any style of Aikikai that I’ve seen - but, maybe? Yoshinkan?
Because yoshinkan aikido being used of japan police riot division. To teach so many personil , they break out the move of the technique step by step and focused for effectiveness. That's why in this style they used just a little circle moved, not like aikikai with a big circle. on purpose for the effectiveness. Like or not like it depends. In my opinion, aikikai much focused on the art and yoshinkan focused for the effectiveness. If you see the movies of Steven seagal is much different when he's in his dojo. In his movies you can see he applied the technique for the effectiveness.
