Treetops Hospice provides nursing care and emotional support for anyone affected by a life-limiting illness or bereavement in Derby, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
Treetops supports patients as well as their families and carers. All services are provided free of charge.
Treetops Hospice is a registered charity, which costs £4.3 million each year to run. We have to raise 70% of this, £8,300 a day, through voluntary donations, our shops, fundraising events, lottery memberships and gifts in wills.
We welcome donations and support to enable us to continue to offer our services in the local community. Please head to our website www.treetops.org.uk for more information.
Well done, Harvey for sharing all that personal stuff with others. And well done, Treetops for this important initiative. I have no doubt that it will give a lot of comfort, confidence and reassurance to other bereaved people who feel angry, lost and sad. Could we maybe hear some more stories from people who have been through the grief and come out the other side?
