Can you please share the square footage and what this project cost/ was bid at? Seems a lot of time, materials, and equipment required. $12,000 to $15,000?
Sitting here watching Reds at St. Louis Cardinals they have a Bermuda grass field at Busch Stadium it looks about the same as that customers yard. Pretty cool, nice work Pete.
Pete, my bother in Christ ha ha I'm less than an hr from KOP, and my son goes to CHOP 4 times a year as well. Next time you're in the area, I would love you to come stop over for a lawn review, lol
I'm currently in the market for a lawnmower, either 52 or 48 inches. As a first-time buyer, the dealer recommended that I get a Scag or Wright. Still, upon seeing the build quality, easy maintenance, engineering, and availability of parts of the Toro brand, I became interested in Toro mowers. However, I noticed they don't have any special offers compared to other brands. If anyone has any suggestions, please feel free to share.
I love Pete, I love his tips. I use tall rescue and he's always on point. I didn't follow his steps this year and my lawn looks terrible. I'm a Pete disciple and will always follow his lead.
Pete, this is off the subject. I've been watching your stand-on lawn mower reviews, and I have a question about one or two mower's ground speed: How is the Grasshopper ground speed as compared to the Wright ZK? I mean, are the two mowers productive during a work day? Thanks.
Nice demo video. I still have that spray adapter you showed a few years ago (from another small family company) that clamps on to the end of your blower. Works well for what I need, but this definitely takes it up a notch and makes the job easier with an all in one.
Cant tell you how much i love that you ( Pete ) give God ( our Lord & Savior ) Jesus Christ ALL the glory! For He is worthy of all our praise! And you Sir definitely have the spirit working in you & through you! You're the real deal. I've started my lawn journey 2yrs ago only the front yard 1500 sq ft because i have a 130.pound dog who owns the back yard. It's looking pretty good but much to be learned still. 40:09 been following a few channels for knowledge, but up until now 2 weeks ago you never came up across my feed im so glad finally God linked me to your channels you do amazing work! I've been on a binge watching all😁 your videos. Love them all! Your Lawn is amazing & so are you! May God bless everything you put your hands to!
FYI..You have to adjust the orange nozzle in order to determine the size of the cone. If you open it all the way up and put the green adjuster on 5 you will spray well over 25ft. The price point on these stinks though. The 40v battery that lasts 1 hr retails at $299..😳 Also, any of the Flowzone sprayer line that have issues out of the box, can be primed like you did. Keep up the great videos brother!
Do you make any attachments for Smith performance 18v powered back pack sprayer. I own one and it's a great sprayer. I Would love to purchase a boom sprayer from you but I am not sure it will work and I have asked before, Sent you emails and have never heard back from anyone.
maybe it doesn't need to reach 20 feet. Mosquitoes typically rest in places that are close to the ground. About 90% of mosquitoes are found resting in sites below 2 meters (approximately 6.5 feet) from the groundMosquitoes typically rest in places that are close to the ground. As an owner of a Mosquito Control company in Michigan, I asked my local SiteOne to bring one of these in for me to demo. I found the unit to be made cheaply. Mainly, the plastic ears that the straps connect to. It's also thinner plastic than the leading mist blower (stihl sr450). The battery life would be a nightmare for Commercial applications. I priced it our, we would need 4 batteries and a charging station on the trucks to make it worth while. This increases the price to around $1,200-$1,600. I can buy a Stihl Sr450 for under $700. I also wasn't a fan of the high pitched sound (that's a personal preference) compared to the 2stroke/4stoke sound of the Stihl. Does it work? Yes. Am I switching my fleet to these? No. It's simply not cost effective and not high quality. Also, I use flowzone typhoons in my mosquito business. Absolutely love them. I'll be waiting for the Gen 2 when it comes out. Thanks for the video Pete.
This is more for homeowners DIY people.. I don't think anything battery powered will work for you commercial guys.. this is more for papa to get out there in the yard and spray the mosquitoes to keep Grandma from complaining so she can sit out on the porch. .
@kainsarafan8190 I disagree. Flowzone markets this for professionals. Mainly because of states like California which are forcing contractors to electric equipment. Even as a homeowner, you could pick up an sr200 and be at about 1/3rd the cost of these. I believe flowzone rushed this out and did not have much input from Commercial users. Now, a company like Kress will likely create one and dominate it because they have some wicked charging technology.
Recently bought a Stihl SR450 which was only a little less expensive but it requires mixed gas and it's the only thing I have besides chainsaw that requires mixed gas.... wish I had seen this system sooner.
What about weed control? Seems with the full coverage fine particle and ability to blast it into the mass some it would make spraying quick and more effective?
@@GCITurf Not spray the yard from one spot. Like walk the yard and aim maybe 5-6ft in front of you at the ground. The particles should land on the ground if you are aiming there unlike up in the air.
@@MP99. highly do not recommend this due to excessive drift. We have back pack sprayers, spray buddies and cart buddies to achieve the same thing but considerably safer.
as the years go by, dealing with gas more and more and having to mix oil and gas for two stroke equipment is getting very old. and im with you on the smell. whats worse is the fumes from the exhaust of the two stroke trimmers, that nasty smell lingers on your clothes till you wash them. and not to mention its just downright horrible for our bodies and the environment. but honestly, battery technology hasnt gotten cheap or efficient enough to switch to all electric in my opinion. i will be doing it in the future but ill give it a couple years.
@@GCITurf That's unfortunate that people feel that way. Nevertheless I enjoy those type of videos. Take care and keep bringing the lawncare videos. Looking forward to learning more about Hydr8 from Green County. I enjoy their N-EXT BioStimulants products.
That looks top notch, Pete. What are you going to use for mosquito control? I've been using Bifen IT on my plants/trees/shrubs with great success. Also, your home gym looks pretty solid too!
