Thank you so much for this. This group is pure talent. They all go into a trance when doing their magic. One question. The man singing is Homayoun Shajarian. His father Mohammad Shajarian was a national treasure and while he is gone now, his son sounds almost exactly like his father. They both sing these classic songs made of the poetry of Rumi, and other classical poets of Iran. It would be interesting if you could do a comparison of the father and son. Would love to watch that.

I saw aclip where john walked backwards off the stage. He didn't stopp singing and the band kept playing while he untangled himself and climbed back on stage.
I believe this was recorded before the show started.( Jesus Christ super star. The live version is after about 90 days, sometimes 2shows a day. The difference is notable. The passion immense.

Unfortunately, when Persian poetry is translated into another language, its meaning changes and becomes very simplistic and weak. Persian is a very deep language, and to truly understand these poems, one must be born in Iran and know the Persian language.

I think your analysis is too binary. He can be high and also trying to deflect questions, these can both be true. You say he "sobers up" when he starts talking about The Second Coming but he's still struggling to speak and seems to be using every braincell to remember what he's trying to say.
