I've seen the reds and purples in the Northern lights but it is really rare at least where I lived. Are those colors more prevalent in the Aurora Australis? How far South do you need to go to see these and is there a particular time of year that you see them? Thanks for the info
Why are you killing them. I am from Japan, we have bioluminescent sites like this but we are taught since kindergarten to respect them and to not bother them. This is quite sad that you would treat nature like this.
When this was filmed 4 years ago, we never knew that stepping on them would kill them. We only knew that disturbing the water would cause them to glow, and that those that remained in the sand also glowed when disturbed. It's only recently that I've come across various articles (probably copied from the same sources) stating they would be killed by stepping. You may also notice that no other comments mention it besides yours.
@@DanielLame oh well I always see these overtly edited pics and videos of aurora borealis that did seem real or how it would actually look like in person. I feel like it be a let down if all I saw was the pics and videos online then went in person to see them expecting it to be some vibrant colors like a rainbow. I have never seen them first hand with the naked eye so I was looking for something online that gave me a better true representation of what it would be like. Then I stumbled onto your video and I was like cool! I did very much enjoy it! Thanks for posting!!
