He never lost his manners, kindness, sense of humor or heart. Always was such a handsome dude, caught my eye as a 9 year old watching “Outshined” world premiere video on Head bangers ball. Loved his lyrics, especially the sarcasm. Chris was SO loved by SO many people! He helped so many people “make it” you’ll never hear a negative comment from another musician about his help, plus I can’t remember a single dig against women in soundgarden’s lyrics. This one hurt the most, I suppose since he made it to his 50’s, seemed very happy, I wish so much he could have been saved that horrible night. If he had been in his correct mind without a benzo and barbiturate in his system, A RECOVERING ADDICT, you never stop keeping up and checking in about your sobriety the rest of your life, and some doctor prescribed him a benzodiazepine and barbiturate, because he was having trouble sleeping after a shoulder injury, unbelievable!!! There’s no way he had a chance with those two drugs, CONFUSION! But SOMEONE in his inner circle should have stepped in, the investigation into his death, clearly shows those pill bottles sitting on the counter prescribed to his name, his family/employees knew he was in recovery, this should have been an emergency of getting him into rehab, it was ignored. The crazy thing he was never “a drug guy” he was an alcoholic hardcore but kicked it and was in recovery for 14 years, then in the early 2000’s got into opioid’s after a surgery, then got sober again, another injury and given an rx for the benzo’s that quietly sneak in and ruin your life if you can’t get into recovery and want to be sober. I’m going to hold my tongue and not say anything about his personal life or that wife he had when he passed, other than I think he’d still be here if not for her and her crazy mother. That’s another rabbit hole to discover how she came into his life, he was treated and then when he passes, hold’s soundgarden’s final music hostage from the rest of the band, and other outrageous greedy behavior, and hearing stories confirmed about her entry into his life while he was in the opioid hell.
I've always considered the Grunge movement ....The Seattle invasion of rock and roll... compared to the British invasion of the 60"s....... So many great bands came from that era.... It's sad so many lead singers from that era all died.......I never thought Chris Cornell would on that list.....what a loss 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
As someone who grew up in the 70s the hair bands were terrible to me and the Seattle music saved rock music. I was never much into punk or metal, more a Hendrix, ABB, Santana etc fan. Their music was as new and exciting. I live in New England so we already were wearing flannel. The hair bands made me sick. Thanks for your greatness.
I think he knew who he was but was devastated over what his wife was trying to do. Leave him and take his kids because he had a slip up. I have been on benzos for over 20 years. She drove him to death. That's all.
@sandrabell2512 we don't personally know them to make those type of assumptions. Many go through the same issues but don't necessarily end their lives. Chester did it before him and his family was stable... depression and substances are a bad combo and sometimes people simply had enough and want to leave on their own terms.

This interview was about “talking about other bands and the music scene at the time” Something he didn’t want to do. I understand why he seemed a little irritated.
He seemed to have it all - fame, money, fabulously good looking, fabulously talented, beautiful wife, beautiful children, a truly blessed life....he had everything most people seem to want and yet it still wasn't enough, it seems....human nature and the search for happiness and fulfillment is a mystery.

yep, him and Chester both, but people wont look into it, even with proof they still ignore it, the truth is sometimes to much for others to handle it, they tried to expose child trafficking, taken out for it and now illuminati are allowing top actors to do, don't make sense, chester and chris were both anti illuminati, people wont look into this stuff, its sad, but at least these 2 legends weren't cloned like most singers or rappers
My feed keeps pushing interviews with Kurt and Chris. So f’ing sad. Both men were extraordinary. Brilliant artists and stunning personas. I was lucky to be almost their contemporary in age. The 90s are the 60s to the 2020s. What a time.
I can’t sleep. I have no love for anyone because there is no compassion and empathy in this world. Not one atom. And if I’m the only person that bothers to empathize with other people I don’t want to be here. I’m tired of dealing with people that only think about themselves. If they had any talent that would be one thing. But I’m surrounded by talentless ignorant people as well.
