Lepers TV was a public access show in St. Louis in the late 90's until 2004 featuring rock and metal bands with some oddities thrown in. From 1995 - 1999 it was called LEPERS DISEASE TV. From 2001 - 2004, it aired on Manhattan, NY public access as well as St. Louis. Various VJ's hosted the show such as Uni the Unicorn, puppets from the Fantasy Forest, and other fellas. The best part about this time was a group of us would film live shows (sometimes 3 to 4 cameras) while someone was live editing these angles with a video mixer...all Ed Wood styled one take production value...no headphones to talk to each other. Audio was usually Shure SM57 or 58 mics mixed with the video to SVHS or miniDV tapes.
Thanks! Any footage from this era is valuable. We for sure would've got some full pro shot show footage at festivals if The Chili Peppers didn't have Mr. Bungle thrown off them.
Thank you so much for uploading this; this band has changed my life in such a huge way and I cannot even begin to describe the love and inspiration I’ve gotten from them.
I heard this band on mine teenage too much! sometimes i think how this band could be one of this greatest band in the world like, Slipknot, like SOAD...it's sad but it's the life. Sorry, my english is bad
Det , if you see this and remember Glauchau please see Olaf. He has got my number and address. Alternatively contact Witschel or Fius and they will put you in touch with Olaf. I haven't got a lot of time left, it would be nice speaking to you again and make things right. I'm back in the old house but not for much longer. By the way i still rather have my teeth pulled than listen to another Frank Zappa album of yours. I tried to find you but no one knows where you are. You are probably on yet another random bicycle in the middle of Mongolia taking pictures. Vio
I did not think anyone played harder than Morgan until I discovered SNOT. Those two, have been my idols and inspirations to my drumming for the past 20 plus. 🤘🏼
