Grateful to have seen Snot twice, once in 1997 opening for Machine Head outside Ft.Lauderdale and then at Ozz Fest '99 on the 2nd stage in Palm Beach. The first time I saw them in '97 I knew nothing about them. I went for Machine Head. These guys blew me away with their energy and fusion of alternative, punk, hardcore, thrash, funk and metal. About a quarter of the way into their set, guitarist Sonny Mayo made eye contact him me and signaled for me to get up on stage. It was really crazy in the moment, but he literally put his guitar on me and then jumped into the crowd in the middle of a song. Yes, I have photos. Sonny was cool enough to give me the setlist and a pick too. After the show, everyone was hanging outside. Got pictures with the each member of the band. They were all friendly, and Lynn was very grateful that I liked the show as much as I did. I picked up the Get Some CD at the merch table and a shirt. They all signed the shirt, which I sold on Ebay years later when I needed money for a move. I wore it to death though even with the autographed back. I may still have my Snot sticker they gave me on an old 3-ring binder I took to school. This is by far one of my most fondest memories and Snot will always mean something to me. 💛

When they asked Ozzy and Sharron and the kids what band in Ozzfest history was the craziest. I don’t think anyone hesitated.. Sharron blurts out SNOT! Very lovingly. And they all agreed. Woulda been fun to see them live. RIP Lynn and doggy

I just recently got into Snot. Strait's voice and style are absolutely AMAZING! His talent is one of a kind! I looked him up, and I'm so frigging sad he and Dobbs were killed. Damn it!

I grew up listening to these guys and i have to say they were one of the bands that opened my eyes. I also never realized just how fucking bad ass Jaimie Miller was on the drums until i could finally find video of them playing close to 20 years after Lynn was murdered. Jamie is a fukin beast on the drums.

I grew up listening to these guys. I was 13 in 1997 and these guys, went on so many road trips with me and my friends. Most of them are dead now but those of us who still live carry the message and are mostly here because of prison or something else that got in our way preventing us from doing. And a lot if the time it has also been out moms because we live them and dont want to see them cry.

Thank God we got to have Snot Get Some at least... one of the best hard rock albums ever.
