On this channel I talk about buying and leasing tips for brand new vehicles, best lease deals, and practical buying tips in 2023 so that you are better informed when you're buying or leasing a new car.
I think the modest style changes on the cx5 are just fine. It still looks awesome and better than the competitors. Better yet, it’s extremely reliable and still made in Japan.
BMW tech here, i drive both of these back to back almost daily- The engine and suspension are a lot smoother compared to the pre lci. We still can’t get used to the new climate controls sometimes we need to turn the fan speed down to listen for a noise and it feels like 10 extra steps. The new seats, similar to in the G70s don’t feel like leather anymore, way too much venting. Besides that, we customers that go from prelci to lci (that also can get used to the technology) absolutely love the lci. Also i’ve personally seen maybe 50 100,000+ miles 40i’s so reliability id say 8/10.
I’m really close to committing to a Mach e, I’m seeing used ones for 25k, 2021 gt’s with 20k miles or a 2023 with close to no miles for that price. In my eyes, it doesn’t get better. Am I just blinded by how awesome the Mach e is?
I'm looking for an EV (the id4 pro s rwd) I don't know if I should buy or lease it. I've never leased a car and I've always paid my cars off within a year Nd I've always modified my cars to make it my own. Ex tint the windows, put leds inside and out etc. Very confusing choices between leasing and owning
If you're looking for sports car, then the accord is not for you period. Looks are subjective at best and the people who are buying the new one aren't going to racetracks with them, they are buying them because of the fuel economy, reliability, simplicity, and some people like the look of it. People complaining about it won't change that.
New subscriber here! Just leased 2024 RX 350h premium.. Couple days ago.. 60,250 MSRP, agreed price $54,170. 5k down drive off .. $360mo tax included, 36 months, 10k miles. .. I don’t get why residual is at $37,300… lease added the rent/lease fee of $8,425… we love the car but the residual is high to think about purchase end of lease.. is this a good deal? Great video!
I won't buy the new RX350, which is a downgrade, not upgrade. The turbo 4 have to work it's ass off compared to the old V6. The only vehicle worth to buy in Lexus line are the RCF, IS500 and the king LC500 nothing else
I left lexus for bmw, i mean in canada the RX went up 5k, the engine went from a solid 6 cyl to a lawntractor 4 cyl… pay more and get less, archaic tech…. No thank you
Congrats you just downgraded yourself to a money pit car full of gizomos like a chinese knockoff car. Its full of gizmis but would barely survive waranty without issues😂
@@badongtagalog5737 well its rated no1 on consumer reports, X5 btw. It’s my first BMW and so far absolutely enjoy the ride, comfort, luxury, tech, power and insane torque. If it turns unreliable then i’ll be able to say that i drove a phenomenal vehicle. I looked seriously at the new RX and was disappointed at the engine, the steering touch pad, lack of drive mode selector, ridiculous digital/analog console and basic toyota like technology, yeah probably reliable but boring on every level AF.
everything is phenomenal until you experienced camping the night because it breaks in the middle of nowhere or maybe you need a simple battery replacement but you need computer and specialized software to replace it and it costs a lot. After that time youll be thinking twice which one you prioritized. I would choose a "boring" and relaxing drive with lexus than an adventurous experience non relaxing experience with bmw everytime.
I know why it sells. Because the shoppers of an RX don’t know anything.😆 The RX doesn’t deserve to be the best seller. The gv80 or x5 deserve that title because they actually know how to compete and properly execute. Lexus just doesn’t know how to compete.
Really? Let me educate you. Genesis has tons if transmission and engine issues and Im.sure you dont know it. And like kias bmw is money pit car at will barely survive waranty without problems. Poor guy😂
@@badongtagalog5737 RX is boring AF. I got a 1.5 years old X5 at a steep discount as they lose much value, a bit more than luxury car average i think. X5 is rated no 1 on CR, mine has been very reliable for my first year of ownership
You will pay anything for 3pointed star even if it’s put on anything with 4 wheels. No car brand has the monopoly of making good cars, it’s not rocket science to make good cars. Toyota is the biggest car maker in the world
I will never buy another Merc. The w223 s class is a joke. It rattles and it needs to go to the dealership literally every three months. Can't wait for my lease to be up and never look back. The problem is Audi is just as bad and the 7 series is hideous looking.
i got 17% off on a brand new 13 miles f150 xl supercrew 4x4 with a 6.5ft. bed $43k freight included end of july 24 before tax title and fees with no trade and
Got an rx350 premium one dealer wouldn’t even come close to the discount I got from another but 10k off and didn’t even have to go back and forth with them saveed me a lot of time
You get a lot of car for the money with lexus rx. I want a gle but with the options I want, it’s over 70k. For the rx I want, it’s around 60k. I’m not paying 10k extra for the Mercedes paint and nicer interior.
@@TheIcecoldorange mercedes Doesn’t have that great reliability. Consumer reports rates bmw’s and lexus’s. The first top 13 cars are 7 BMW and 6 Lexus and no 14 is the RDX.
@@stea2494 have you owned one? I have been driving a 2014 Mercedes suv for 8 years now. Absolutely nothing costly so far other than a yearly maintenance that runs about $300. The only things I replaced were tires and headlight bulbs and I’ve put over 100k miles on it.
Ari, been a huge fan of your channel pre-Covid. We’re in Boston. Any tips for a 2024 CRV Sport L? Wife was looking at a CPO but told her, let me see what Ari say 😁
This lease incentive difference is crazy. $4000 vs. zero. Both have almost identical MSRP. The Gas only model is a turbo. Runs only on premium fuel. It’s required. The hybrid runs just fine on regular ( it’s the same engine as the Camry and the other Hybrid Toyotas). The gas turbo will get low 20’ s mpg. The hybrid mid to upper 30’s. The lease monthly payment is about $100 less per month of the gas only model. That buys a lot of gas. Have to agree with Ari here definitely. The deal to pull off is to buy the hybrid. Finance rates not great at Toyota/Lexus. Hopefully the loan rates with drop with December to Remember deals that start around Black Friday. Mazda doing zero percent on CX-70/90’s. That used 450h is highly sought after due to the fact that it had the 6 cylinder not the 4. Previous generation. Problem is that they are supposedly easy to steal 🙈. I think the $4k incentive expires October 1st. Only reason I’m looking is that my perfect 2019 NX goes in for the 60k mile service on the 2nd. Expensive service, but I think I’ll keep it until the wheels fall off. Thanks Ari, I’ll bring you along to negotiate for me. 👍
We traded our perfect 2018 NX300 with 58k miles for the RX350h.. we needed the extra room .. loved the smooth ride and tech on the new RX. Having regrets about trading the NX .. it’s a great nimble car the NX and never disappoint drives from LA to Vegas.
I had a 2016 transit connect cargo that I owed 12,600 on it. It was broke down for a year and a half prior to getting it fixed. Engine wiring harness was bad. At 155k miles I felt it was a ticking time bomb. Oh yeah, paint was horrible and had two accidents on its record. They gave me 2700 for it and rolled about $10k onto new car, a 2024 Kia forte gt2. Now since it was a cargo van nobody would refinance me and my rate was 15%. The Kia is 6.7%. I feel like I came out ahead. My payment is $75 a month higher but I save that in gas going to and from work. And this car is dependable and sooo much nicer.
When it comes to choosing a new car, all you need to know is the residual value on the brand's lease contract. The residual value is the exact amount the automaker thinks the car will be worth after three years. And if the automaker thinks the residual value will be next to nothing, it means they think the car they're selling is garbage. So if the automaker believes they're selling you junk, why buy it?
I bought a 23 gx460 luxury on a 60-month lease. I only made one payment. I want to buyout or refinance it because I think I don't want to lease it any more. What should I do?
If u wanna look rich but not really rich , get a BMW😂. If u are rich for real and wanna be low key, get a 4Runner Trd pro like me. The new x5 sucks with the big screen across the dashboard. They try to do everything touch screens like Tesla.
the new crosstrek has the same engine / transmission and safety tech as the previous one. The main difference is the new infotainment and exterior design.
Would love to get your help for my daughter who made an impulsive purchase on a Honda .. she pays $800 a month, is upside down, and realizes now how much of an easy target she was for the dealership. Would love your thoughts and recommendations on how she can get out of a bad deal or how to get into a better deal. She’s 27, a teacher with college debt, and struggling to make ends meet (especially here in California). Would appreciate any help or advice you can provide!
@@liztiscareno5987 best way is to get a personal loan to cover the negative equity and sell the car to Carmax. There’s really no other way if she can’t afford the car and doesn’t want to ruin her credit.
So right now I'm looking at a 24 ex...being offered $1500+$1250 loyalty (good finance too). Should I include the loyalty in the discount off percent? In PA.
Negotiations guide LOL. Your bashing the best selling and best bang for the buck. The reason why its a far superior product. You know you should rent one for a week or at the very least look at the specs, reviews and resale values on the Ford Maverick. So misleading or incorrect I'm surprised someone hasnt reported your video. If you need to tow over 4k then the other trucks should be considered. If 90% of your time is daily driver why would anyone wants to be beat up with the ride, pay more, pay more at the pumps, less interior room? Besides the AWD is much safer because its basically on 24/7 if the computer notice slippage. Not so with the 4x4 systems also look at the safety ratings the Maverick has especially if it your childs vehicle. Americans are very resourceful and sharp, thats why the Maverick are flying of the lots. Also Ford could probably sell everything they make and the reason last year was low was the constraints on parts and the plant producing them. Even now there are still constraints but it has lessoned allowing Ford to produce more Maverick's. Also lets also consider that car n driver claims there Maverick test vehicle had a 0 to 60 at 5.9 seconds on the 2.0 ecoboost. Whats not to like? Also 2024 rated at 23 city 30 hwy, AWD 22 city 28 hwy and the hybrid comes in at 42 city 33 hwy with some getting higher numbers thats projected. The tremor pkg does lower the fuel economy to 20 city and 24 hwy. I'm not sure what the 2025 fuel economy numbers are. Next time take a look around and see how many commercial vehicles are now converting or using the Ford Maverick?
Nissan is getting rid of the CVTs, they know that legacy killed them. We shopped for a very long time for our new SUV and the Toyota Hylander was way overpriced and generally unavailable but when we did drive one it sucked, what a pile of crap that turbo engine is. People have NO idea what a PITA Turbo gas engines are as they age. The Honda Pilot was better but the interior was like a park bench and Honda also has engine issues. The Nissan '24 Pathfinder with it's proven V6 new Transmission and fantastic interior at a cost much lower than it's competitors was our choice and we have no regrets 5K miles later. I'd buy another one tomorrow. Hybrids are not brain surgery, Nissan will build Hybrids this year and satisfy that part of the market, personally I want no part of Electrified vehicles, too many issues and very expensive to fix when stuff goes wrong.
