Prices are out of control. If I have to spend that kind of money, I would rather buy a 65,000 3500HD pickup that can do real work and keep value for a long time.

I was leasing a 2022 RDX for 3 years, targeting at the time to be ready for the redesign 2025 RDX... which isn't happening. I don't want the MDX, too big for me, bad gas mileage. I just about gave up, saw the ZDX and that price tag, and said no way. BUT... the incentives are amazing!!! I got about $20k in incentives, I also got $4k on the trade in with my leased RDX. I ended up with the ZDX Type S with Performance Tires and Wheels on a 27 month lease under $600, just about $40 more than my RDX lease. I'll give the EV a try, but I'm assuming in 27 months, I either buy this or walk away and go back to gas, as I don't know if I can get these kinds of incentives again

Acura made a mistake partnering with GM on this vehicle. The interior feels cheap, like an economy brand, especially compared to Cadillac. I wouldn’t pay $65,000 or $70,000 for it. I’d consider other Acura models, just not this one. It's disappointing that Acura let GM control so much, especially the interior design.

Still supporting my American brand but please be truthful. I Choose based on reliability. Honda engines excel in longevity. While GM's luxury and performance vehicles are impressive, their reliability is questionable, and many interiors are made from cheap plastic.

These EVs are jokes, I can’t afford a new basic car like 30 grand for a Camry and that has hybrid crap I don’t need, a Carolla is about a few grand less and smaller, now I saw a Chevy TRAX suv 22 grand not bad brand new but not sure on reliability, Hyundai Kia have gone down hill, I have an old Hyundai falling apart. Nissan is RIP soon as well Dodge ram, Chrysler, jeep. This auto industry is just too much money, EV needs to stop it’s not the latest and greatest in technology, so much money could have been saved just creating more fuel efficient engines and transmissions

I was paying $185/month to finance a 2014 Mustang. I am fundamentally unwilling to spend more than that on a car, I’ll build them myself from scratch if this kind of pricing is supposed to be normal and appropriate

Test drove an RDX in 2017 and couldn’t find a single thing I thought made it different from a Honda except the branding. Road noise, rattles, plastic interior, middling power. Nothing wrong with Honda. I’ve owned a few. But paying an upcharge for a Honda with a different logo ain’t it. Sadly, that’s what Acura is still trying to get us to do.

I have seen so many people happy with the lyrics. They are selling really well (prob almost all leases) And they are priced in a very similar manner. Why hate on the Acuras price? It's basically the same price point as the caddy. Do you also dislike the pricing on the lyric? Just curious

@@tommy13965 I mean .. kinda. But it's not like they have a better option. What GM is doing battery wise is working. They also have so many cars on with the hummer, daddy, Honda, Acura, traverse, Silverado, blazer etc. Acura needed the help. And they took a really good part of GM for the car. I can't get behind this thought. If GM made a garbage setup. Id agree.

@@JeremyZ22 I recently sold my 21 tlx aspec shawd in April and picked up a 24 tesla M3P for 45k after the 7500 tax credit. Love the instant torque and fun from driving it Acura just doesn’t have anything close to the M3P the tlx type S or the teggy type S just don’t stand a chance against it.

@@tommy13965 I have a BMW ix m60 So I can totally understand the fun of the instant torque. I had a Porsche cayenne e hybrid before. The BMW is night and day difference when it comes to fun while still handling just as good. Electric definitely isn't for everybody but it's certainly for me lol
