I agree I don't think she should have took his last name after she remarried again she didn't even take his last name when they first got married she did that to still draw attention to herself using his last name and that's not right
not trying to be mean but if anyone's watching this in 2022 she seems like a very overbearing domineering type person to me and really she wouldn't have been anything without Patrick when Patrick became famous in his movies then after that Drew attention to her too if it weren't for that she would just be another ballet dancer probably not well known

Things may not always have been perfect between them but one has to understand that Patrick was also an alcoholic. Noone who has not lived in an alcoholic relationship can understand how much that damages not only the drinkers but those who love them most and are closest to them. The fact remains that they loved each other through it all and they both did their best. Their closeness through 37 years together is a testament to that.

Lisa reminds me of Hillary Clinton. She s not satisfied by being the wife of somebody prominent. She wants to dominate the scene. Patrick knew that without Lisa he would have been drowned in alcohol and so, he gives her the admiration she needs. Sad to watch. Look at her eyes when he is speaking. Pure envy.

After seeing this I think the rumours about her being unkind to him may be true. She seems very bossy & cuts in on him many times when the interviewer asks a question. Yes, she is a good dancer too but let's be honest here - most people want to see & hear Patrick. I also agree with some other comments where it's said her eyes look strange as she looks at him when he does actually get the opportunity to speak. It's true that you never really know the truth between two people but it seems to me they may not have been the perfect couple after all. It is very sad that his life was cut short by such a cruel & debilitating illness. He gave so much enjoyment to many people.
fine thoughtful comment.. I agree.. But after all he was married to her 35 years. So I guess he loved her. He wasn't forced to be with this woman. But he was very insecure and not self confident on the inside. He didn't like himself. He always had the feeling he had to prove himself. Being loved for the person he was was something he found in Lisa he said. Yes she was bossy to him, this is something he was used to since his childhood for his mother was bossy and demanding too. So he went from bossy mum to bossy Lisa. It was kind of challenging to him that he always had the feeling that he had to fight for Lisa's love as well as for his mother's love. Because he never was sure if Lisa loved him so much as he loved her. So it was really a tragedy that ended up in alcoholism, cigarettes and a tragic early death.
Agree, especially if you turn off the sound, you can see Lisa is not not honest, but selfish overacting bossy bitch. Well, for the game they played two people we needed, Patrick chosen to be in this relationship
