I ran across this looking into building in southeast Texas in Batson on our family farm. Love it. Had a few questions about the environment. I have a lot of land bit not much money.

Yes. That's cedar, milled within a few miles of the cabin.

Great video, one of the best build video's I've seen! Tight work on the mortise and tenon joints. Is that cedar?
