Well that certainly started getting spicy at the end there 🤣 Very smart move letting the other car past to drag you back up to the pack, just a shame you couldn't make anything stick. I don't know how John managed to keep his head in that one, that blinking was crazy
Nice one, I’ve just done this and now the bar with the spacers just doesn’t fit back in anymore, only to find out I didn’t even need to take this apart cheers 👍 (Had to sand the black spacers down)
Good racing Mark. Looked like you struggled a bit after losing the back of P1, don't know if you cooked the tyres a little, but it was a fun battle keeping Max at bay 👍🏻
You certainly made that harder work that need Mark :D I think what saved you at the end there was Matthew got a little bit of a slide on coming out of the uphill section, which then compromised his exit speed slightly. Good racing tho mate 👍🏻
So unfortunate with the slow down mate, 56 degree track certainty didnt help. Youre qualfying a lot higher this season! That big result is coming. But damn the top 5 group are quick. Think my aim is 6th every race now 😅
Cheers Adam. Definately since the tyre model changed back i can quali better - just need to work on other stuff as well now. You are flying - hard up there with these guys and also some in same team.
Thats was a great video Mark, loved the gr overtake in the final turn! You are a very fair driver and deserve a huge amount of credit for that. Looking forward to watching more of your videos.
For the pedals, do you need the pedal plate? or could you just use some screws and put it straight into the wood? I ordered the pedals already, just wondering if you could do that
@@garb.5220 you might be able to if you put the wood (or more pieces) in the correct place. But a plate is a bit easier/neater especially if you want to angle the pedals a little. For me they are flat so it’s ok.
Thank you for the thorough guide. I had already built my base, but used some old castor wheels under the base. I really like your frame for monitors/direct drive and PC so will try this idea to make freestanding monitor/PC frame thank you, new sub :)
I've had the wood to build mine since last fall and just haven't had the time (or nice enough weather on my day off) to get everything cut & built, same basic design in my head as yours but I plan on doing the monitor mount like the channel CKW did in a video 6 years ago "Triple Monitor Mount For Sim Rig". I'm planning on adding a sliding keyboard/mouse tray under the wheel like a traditional pc desk has.
Been trying the ray ford 1600 really nice car I keep trying PCC but keep getting wrecked lol think I will try the mustang at least the GRs will be out the way lol take it easy mate
It’s a real shame Lincoln has no consistency he’s got great pace but I find most of his decision making is very poor if he just settled down a bit he would defo get some great results your looking strong out there mate loving your driving style mate great vid as always brother
Thanks Chris! The new tyres are definately helping me this season - was struggling a lot before this. Hopefully see you on track soon, i have started doing Advanced more now also.
Sure. It’s a good point as old video didn’t have some pieces. Will try and do it before the weekend. The wood and good quality screws came in about £75. It was itemised on the 2nd video I think. 🤔.
@@garb.5220 the pedal plate was originally screwed in on an angle but when I changed to the Simjack pedals I added a trakracer pedal plate. Looks like I have more to update;-)
If you want to spend a little over $100 USD, get the Heusinkveld Sim Pedals Ultimate Upgrade Kit, it'll work for these pedals and u can even use their software since it comes with a controller. Much better quality elastomers. Find a retailer in your country to avoid high international shipping lol
