My name is Matthew and I'm located in the Orlando, FL area. I starting mowing my neighbor's lawn when I was 12 for $5 a cut. After getting several more lawns in my neighborhood, I started my business when I was 19. I named it after my favorite song, Blackbird by The Beatles. In my mid-thirties, my weekly lawns were beginning to be too taxing on my body, so I decided to stop doing regular maintenance. Now, I do free lawn cleanups here on RU-vid, usually for people in need, in hopes to profit from ad revenue and sponsorships. I chose this path because I'm passionate about lawn care, but can't do it day-in, day-out. This allows me to keep mowing, but not so much that it wears my back and body out any further. Now the majority of my work is on a computer, but I still get to go out, do what I love, and help people at the same time. What sets me apart from other lawn care RU-vid channels is my meticulousness and 25 years of experience.
It looks like you're just starting out, with the push mower. I know that's hard work!! I'll be 75 yrs. old this year and I mow my own yard!! God bless you!!
It's good to see ya using a rake. I have seen other channels that just use their bare hands ✋️ 😳, dummies don't know what is in them waters or stuck on the drains. SMH, I guess they will have to learn the hard way. I was watching Post 10 videos and yours showed up in my suggestion page. Great job preparing for the storms
BEAUTIFUL JOB and a whole lot of effort as well. You didn't miss a thing on your cleanup. I hope the owner is so very very happy. Fantastic VIDEO as well....good JOB!!! God Bless you for doing this property.
how come you leeft those fences covered in weeds/ivies? You need to mow the whole property again to mince up the grass, and tarp it out of there. if not, the grass will die.
You do a great job but trimming and pruning you are falling short. When shrubs and bushes hide lighting features they should be cut back. When the window is hidden behind hedges you should cut them back and expose the window.
almost great work.. but you did not clear those vines along the fences... you shoul conceder that also cause for the over all looks that all will say that the are was groomed well... please next time include those fences vines...
Hi Mistur blackbird my dad is seanslawns and me and him watch your videos together thank you for being so cool and nice Mistur blackbird and my dad says the Beatles are the best byeeeee
Hi Mistur blackbird did you know my dad SeansLawns and I just watched your videos and he said you are very very good at this and I am happy we found you byeeee
Being from the northern most part of the US, I was on the edge of my seat thru the whole video....just waiting for a "S" to show it's ugly head. NO WAY would I be caught walking thru 6' high grass. Especially without safety gear. I'm probably just a wuss but I really give you credit for cutting this property! Good job!
Man you certainly had a tiger by the tail end on this job. I noticed you started from the backyard , most people starts from the sidewalk and the front yard , I was thinking maybe you started f😅rom the part of the job that required more energy on your behalf, I mean, it really don't matter where you start from, it's just the fact that you can get the job done. I am a first timer on your site and I like your work, you seem to have a nack for this kinda thing...stay hydrated and get plenty of sleep and rest because this kinda job is highly demanding on your joints, liver and kidneys, also check for parasites.
Thanks Ernest. I started in the front left, went around and ended in the front right. I start in the front like everyone else. It was a little different this time because the front was split down the middle with a fence. Thanks for the advise and kind words.
Mathew I really enjoy watching your videos "less talking and more mowing" is what it is all about....One thing you really need to invest in is a STANDEE, save you from walking the whole property twelve times!!!
@@blackbirdlawncare Maybe You'll be fortunate enough to receive a sponsor from TORO or CUB CADET or Best of all VENTRAC....to make these jobs not so bad...You do fine work!!!!
Hopefully. I feel I have the potential to get big. I just need to make more videos. I don’t know how the other guys make one every week. I was hoping to start releasing at least monthly videos this summer but I’ve been busy for months redoing the landscaping at my mom’s house. I filmed phase 1 of the project, and it got minimal views so I gave up on filming the rest of it. Hopefully Summer of ‘24 I can get on a regular schedule, and the offers start coming in. Should be able to get a few videos out in the meantime too.
@@blackbirdlawncare I expect if you go at it at 1000% people will want to see what you are doing...I personally like your content and the way you talk to me when I ask questions....Good Luck with mom's home and of course whatever you put your mind too, GOD Bless Stay Safe Don't NEVER Give up
It's amazing how much beauty is on that lot that one could not see because of such an overgrowth of grass, weed's etc. Beautiful JOB Blackbird Lawn Care. Thank you for a GREAT video. God Bless You!!!
