oh I see where you mean. I just stuffed everything under the cheek pad, and then the cheek pad just pushes back into the tabs then snaps in place. When you put it back together you'll see how it fits even though it looks like magic in the video.

How does it sound in the ruroc buddy. I struggle to hear it at anything above 65mph in my current agv helmet. Just ordered the ruroc EOX and I am hoping it's quiter 🙏👍
It's ok. It's on par with the shoei, maybe even a little better at higher speeds. In all honestly but anything above 65 gets a little fuzzy from the wind no matter the helmet I think.
Nice but a little background noise is better than none. However, this is an unfair comparison, using the GoPro4. We are looking to switch from Sena (sena is junk) to Pactalk Edge. With our current setup, we record directly in the GP 8 with no problems. However, we can't record multiple riders. Yeah, the voice command recording would be awesome.

Ha, thanks for watching. Yea as controversial as Ruroc is, the Atlas 4 isn't a bad helmet from what I can tell. I do however, like the Shoei fit and finish better for around the same price. Let me know what you think of it when you get it!
Pretty annoying huh! The whole press for 3 sec sequence etc isn't very intuitive. You should just be able to connect it, have full power from the get go and start.
I've been using the Packtalk for over 6 years. Haven't noticed a big improvement when updating firmware. Button operations has changed since the original firmware. Voice call command still sucks. Receiving calls works fine.
I never really used voice to initiate calls. Overall they still have a ways to go to be really intuitive, have you used the Edge? I find the voice commands in the Edge more responsive but ultimately it's a similar unit.
@@epicmotorcyclechannel307 Don't have a PT Edge. I have two Packtalks. Works ok for my use but voice calls doesn't really work. A by-pass is using the display hub on my Ducati Multistrada 1260 which retains the last 5 or 6 most recent calls. I can click on one of those to initiate a call to those on that list. Before you ask, I keep my phone in my breast pocket.
Save time, space, WEIGHT, and unnecessary jump starting; get an Antigravity battery for your bikes. I have one in mine and it’s awesome! For the price of a regular battery and this jump starter you can get the antigravity battery. They have them for cars and bikes.
Ha I actually have used it to charge my phone since it has usb charge ports. It did one full charge and was still over half way full so I'd say at least 2-3 times.
Sooooo in other words buy another 3rd Cardo unit, pair it to a phone and add it to your intercom group, and then use that 3rd Cardo unit for recording so you can still listen to music, hear GPS instructions etc etc
Ha perhaps? Sorta defeats the purpose of the feature doesn't it? Hopefully they can enhance it in future updates to allow for having those things simultaneously. 🤔 I was surprised by how nothing else worked while recording.
It didn't come with it but I bought it at launch and you could select the adapter you wanted for it for an extra $10 and they would arrive together. Then you would have to attach it to the lens which was just a few screws. Thanks for the question!

@@klk6266The only I think was that on the first attempt, he connected the negative/black lead first which you're not supposed to do. Positive/red goes on first then negative/black, next. When removing, remove negative/black first then positive/black last.

I'm glad it helped! Yea its a bit tricky and even though I read the manual before hand, as you can see I stumbled with the operation of it. But overall it's very handy to have.
You can buy the condoms so when they bonk you in the butt on the returns. Bought two of them on Black Friday and returned them both. Had my shoei 1400 for a year now and it’s way better. But good review. Something different.

@@epicmotorcyclechannel307 I definitely had to pay outta pocket for return. With was a pain. Plus the customer service was trash. It took them almost a week to get the return label I needed. Then have to deal with DHL was just crazy. Never again.

@@ramblinjay3816 Right, and actually that was one thing that gave me a bit more peace of mind when ordering it, that it did pass the new ece standard. This helmet is oddly polarizing in the motorcycle community but in the end, it's fine. It's not as great as the shills make it out to be and (this version) isn't as bad as the haters make it out to be.
The 4.0 is NOT quiet. My old shoei qwest was quieter. This helmet will destroy your face if you have forward impact. This is truly a $200 helmet. I don't even wear it. Can't sell it cause everyone I know knows it's complete junk. Still wearing my old quiet qwest
I still prefer my Shoei but it's not as bad as prior versions. Can't say I can argue with you on the 200 dollar helmet comment either, they are still favoring looks over function and until they can do a redesign with safety as the cornerstone they'll always be playing catch up.
