i disagree about joy having long limbs. i think she has proportionate limbs. she's just taller than the rest of the members. she isn't even particularly tall. she's 166 cm which makes her taller than the other members and the average korean woman, but 166 is not tall. it might be tall for a woman in south korea. but it's not really the kind of height where you start facing coordination issues because of your height. and since her limbs are proportional to the rest of her body, that shouldn't cause any significant issues either. whatever issues joy has or had with her dancing are simply down to her technique, not her limbs.
Not gonna lie, I was ready to start disagreeing with your opportunities for the members, but it was well thought out. I tend to love their dance practice videos and I will study each member. I will say that as of LMB I.N. Looks different to me. He stands out to me a lot more than before. I do think that each song has a different placement for them which would make others stand out more. Seungmin is really good, but he blends in well. Han although forgetful, is a beast when he remembers. Changbin doesn’t miss at all to me. I am still on the fence about his placement. Like LMB it seems like he throws his entire body into the movement which is why I have to agree. Or it could have been his hair flying 😊. I do think Bangchan is holding back. Hyunjin is seems to speed through steps at times which could be his stamina. He is still a beast though. Felix is a beast. He is a really great dancer. Lee yes no Lee Know. OMG his moves at the end was like visual flowetry. His isolations stand out like fire. They all are amazing. Military motto- you’re only as strong as your weakest link. Stray Kids has no weak links which means they are dangerous. In a great way. ❤ them. You my boyz SKZ. You my boyz 😂🥰
People forget that Bambam was a dancer first and foremost before becoming an idol. They thought Bambam was especially amazing in JYP during his training because since he was so small he was always considered younger than he actually was, and his personality was so cute that they thought of him as childish…until he started moving. He was obviously the same age as like yugyeom and Jihyo, but they were so much taller than him that everyone thought they were older despite them being close friends. His shock value at how good he actually is at dancing is one of his strengths and weaknesses though. no one ever expects him to say he was a dancer because of how good at variety he is, but the he’s like ‘yeah Lisa and I hung around the same crowd bc we were in the same dance group’ and everyone’s like ‘huh???’
ngl, I was really surprised by your 12 and 7 ranks. Both girls had to step up since the C-line's departure, 7 is even WJSN's Main Dancer now and 12, despite not having a dancer role can fill a 2nd main dancer role in WJSN. In their current OT10 lineup I'd place 7 in 1, and 12 in 2 (But in OT13 lineup it would be 7 in 2, and 12 in 3). Don't get me wrong, you make strong arguments (I can see why you'd say 12 "overdances") and I actually agree with pretty much every other placement, but not 12 and 7.
To be fair, I dont think Hoshi's and Dino's style are similar so the comparison is moot between them. I have seen choreographies where Hoshi's dancing style worked better, and several other where Dino's did. So I think it varies song to song. I love Hoshi and even before I was a Carat i was obsessed with his Pass The Mic challenge with Enhypen cuz he was scary good in it, but I have seen that in some choreos sharpness and precision is more suitable, and that's where Dino outshines him. Not being able to catch Hoshi's weaknesses as a dancer is surprising to me - and yes, it's okay to have weaknesses - everyone has them, no one is perfect.
Maybe it's bc this video is old but honestly even as a Chaeryeong bias I think Yeji might be a better dancer ever so slightly. There's something almost unreal about the way she moves at times. While I always go wow Chaer is an amazing dancer there's no moments were im like "that was inhuman "
I’ve just joined the fandom, and in 2024, while still a baby, for me I agree that Joshua is the weakest dancer and Dino/Hoshi are the best. I’d actually rank Vernon, Seungkwan and Mingyu as top of the pack too. And Jeonghan is a great dancer to me, he has moments when he’s amazing, but they are not consistently there, so I’d rank him lower. And Jun for me is one of the dancers with the best facial expressions, he looks so happy on stage and is always engaged and seeking out the eye of the camera. Maybe because I was mesmerised by the World era, but he’s def top three if we’re considering stage presence and facials.

I saw another ranking, which was made more recently and you can see how much they improved especially seungkwan, he was ranked 4th or 5th( I don’t clearly remember) , even when he has to sing those high notes a lot of the times he still gives his all in those dance moves, I think people should acknowledge him more for his dance skills
Watching this in 2024 makes me realize the astronomical improvements all the members have gone through, ESPECIALLY Seungkwan. They're 9 year veterans and yet they're still pushing and pushing for excellence.
I know Jhope is the leader when it comes to dance and even if BTS and TXT are combined in the ranking, Jhope is still in the lead but I'm just sad because not many people watch his fancam
If we based in their Tier's in dancing; Tier 2-Jhope Low Tier 4-Jimin Mid Tier 5 - Jungkook Mid Tier 6- Suga and V Low Tier- RM Mid Tier 7 - Jin (but Jin is improving now)
Suga can really be a part of the dance line if dancing is his passion bcuz he used to be a b-boy but he stopped bcuz of his shoulder injury that he was hiding bcuz he was afraid that he might be kicked out if they found out. He is really good at footwork and I also noticed that his feet do not make mistakes in every step of the dance and BigHit might have put him on the dance line if he hadn't had an accident that caused him to injure his shoulder
First of all, I’m going to say that dance is art, and art is expression and is meant to be interpreted in the eyes of the beholder. Only thing I’m gonna say is I disagree about Jimin’s facial expressions. I think he is the most expressive facials in the group. His facial vary based on the style and the mood of the song and almost always match the feel of the song. His expressions always follow the feel of the song. He captures that in the way he moves his body as well as in his facial expressions. Also, if you look carefully at Jimin’s “blank expression”, you’ll notice that his eyes still hold an intense emotion that also matches whatever the song requires. That’s one of his greatest strengths as a dancer. Every part of his dancing from the tips of his hair on his head to his toes is always engaged fully in the dancing. I’m fine with putting him second. I honestly don’t care, but I do disagree with your impression of his facial expressions. I think he’s the most expressive of the group. He’s always on when he’s dancing. He never stops performing and I’ve heard a lot of dancers and reactors mention that about him. But opinions are opinions and we all have our own. I could also think that Jimin and Jhope can be #1 together.
With all the love to Sehun, I don’t think Sehun is better dancer than Baekhyun and Xiumin ( they can be inter changeable between 3-4) as Beak, is main vocal, compare Xiu, he gets less opportunity to show his skill in group. Sehun has great body control, but his moves are very choppy, like he do the steps with great precision, but the whole choreography doesn’t look connected. Which is the biggest reason I actually rank him before Chen, D.O
I think what helps Baekhyun also his stage presence.. technically speaking Sehun might be better dancer but Baekhyun is"cooler" to look at. Maybe its the charisma thats also works and his camera works
