I’m not from Detroit but from another city in Michigan and have spent a lot of time in that metro area. Detroit isn’t that bad. People may not move there as much because of the winter weather ❄️. There is a lot to do in the area.
I’ll have my first winter in DTW and see how it goes but I don’t think it’ll be that bad but lmaooo I actually prefer cold weather… do you spend a lot of time in Detroit ?

Awww friend, I hate your 1st experience there was not the best but don’t give up on it just yet, try it again when then Olympics is done. Our hotel is definitely close to EVERYTHING, It really is a great shopping experience and site to see. Food, not so much! 🫶🏽 It’s never the job, it’s always the “people” lol one of the reasons why I stay away from TO’s unless I know a friend or two working it lol

You’re not on the CRJ are you? I know they fly CRJ‘s out Concourse D and yes, that concourse is small. They’re suppose to be working on it and widen it out but you have a wonderful safe trip and always stay fly and stay beautiful.
Look online to get an idea of what the process will be like so you can be prepared friend. Also watch videos from people at the airline you’re applying too, we usually give gems that helped us secure our CJO. I was in corporate America baby I would not go back the flexibility as an FA is unmatched
@@blaqinthecity well you know it's ATL so they usually have us working sometime on the weekend. It was scheduled to do leans over the weekend. ILM/CHO/OAJ first night cancelled. Second one went on time third one cancelled. Both nights I was at the airport until 2am or later before they cancelled. Monday I literally slept half the day away. Hopefully this will be all worked out before my Ady3 on Friday

Before my son became a FA, it never dawned on me not to tap a FA, not that I ever did, but now I am hyper vigilant that that should never be done. It makes complete sense why ya'll don't that to be done.

@blaqinthecity the company you work for isn't hiring FAs yet and the regional I've applied to said no but thanks. I'm going to keep trying. I have an offer from Frontier and a few other low cost, but I'm thinking of taking another position with the company you work for, establish some tenure and let my work ethic shine through then when they hire FAs, I'll be able to apply for transfer, have some tenure with the company, and OSMs and others account for my work product. More of me will be showcased than just my resume. That's the plan girl.
If I have to apply 20 times over 20 years, I will become an FA for the company. That's my dream and it will all work out. I just have to trust God's timing. In the meantime I just watch my favorite FAs and working on myself and towards achieving my goal. Yall gove me so much hope!!! And one day hopefully soon I'll be flying them friendly skies. 😊😊😊

Friend it’s no secret. Most of us eat bad. I used to only eat once a day but it was a hefty plate and I loved carbs. I barely eat carbs now and changed my diet drastically. No sodas and I barely drink anymore 😅 you got this !
