One of the rare songs where you get to actually hear Tarja singing in a less operatic and more conventional style (in the verses). Another is "feel for you" from Century Child. It's a shame she didn't mix it up a little more often between classical vs contemporary styles, because one of the biggest criticisms people make of Tarja is the idea that she is a one-trick Pony who can only excel with classical style singing, but in the few cases where she did sing in a more contemporary style she really sounds stunning.
regards from Estonia, glad you found this interesting, but what would you think of one another video from Metsatöll? :ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HppN10r7V5c.html
I mentioned them a while back and you still have yet to react to Lord Marco 🤌💪 almost anything of his is worth reacting to but I recommend you checking out his drum playthrough of... SONIVINOS - Incomprehensively evolved (310 bpm) his playthrough of Hunhau Mitnal - Creador y Formador or the ultimate song of drum insanity MIM - Synaptic 😳💪
When I listen to it, I feel like I am transported to another world, another dimension. It is as if there were other worlds or universes in which I have lived, I feel a strange nostalgia, of something that I do not remember having lived but that is there in a place in time and space.
Ummagumma is one of the earliest Floyd albums - I still have an original vinyl copy. An interesting track on it is "Several species of small furry animals gathered together in a cave and grooving with a Pict" ;-)
I got you though, if you wana keep it underground and verge away from the Black Metal & try some unorthodox genre less genre bending then check out NOSTALGHIA she is the Doom Atmospheric Pop Princess for fans of Bjork & Radiohead & Portishead N8NoFace He is The Synth Punk God Mixing Punk & 80s dance & Industrial & His own original vibe Oddly Shrugs He is the new Marlyn Manson if MM was emo pop trap punk grunge post punk and his own goth vibe
I’m glad you discovered this song! Please do a reaction for DARZAMAT - In the Flames of Black Art The intro is a progressing loop That only producers and music can appreciate the build up and placement like how this songs intro goes 🤘
Sup, bro. Listen please to Путь band, album called Песни смерти. In English it will be Pathway - The Songs of the Death. Love this band a lot, they're great and this album is genius. Also Olhava and TRNA - 2 different projects of the same guys, both are magnificent ABM
The best and most sophisticated band with the most harmonious vocals ever, and I would especially like to point out about the extravagant, most melodious and phenomenal sound..... Those who have never listened to Boston do not know what they are missing in their life.... Listening to their songs, my emotions touch me so much that every time I shed a tear.... And again, and again....Their songs are fairy tales that last forever....
OMG, the tissues I've 🤧 gone through since I discovered David Draiman and Disturbed performing their rendition of "The Sound of Silence" on April 29, 2024. That day I have to believe my spirit 🙏 guides (out of the blue) first led me to a cover video by Dan Vasc singing "Amazing Grace" which was phenomenal 👏 and then to the cover video of Disturbed and David Draiman singing this most POWERFUL, EMOTIONAL 😂rendition of Simon and Garfunkels "The Sound of Silence". NOTE: For those interested, here's some history on Paul Simon, who wrote the song in 1964. Watch their video from back then. It's a whole different vibes. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Sound_of_Silence I'm 75 and was 15 when they released one of the most popular, iconic classical songs of our time during the 60's. It's amazing how relevant it is today. Actually, I feel it is even more relevant now more than ever, by how we're so attached to our electronics. Diane
Oh wow. Nice to see you again. I've completely lost track of you. I've enjoyed following your posts about Pink Floyd songs. Something like Fridays...? Time goes by
I've listened to Subdivisions at least 1000 times. Always sounds fresh. Always sounds perfect. Hopefully I'll live long enough so I can listen to it 10,000 more times.
I grew up smack dab in the middle of the sixties. Music and high-fidelity itself were unfolding and our ears heard beauty that seemed to come from the heavens. The first time I heard music from a modern stereo setup was also the first time I heard music through headphones which was also the first time I heard The Beatles.
Chill reaction video… check out the song, The Camera Eye, from their album/cd.. Moving Pictures…there’s no official Rush video, but it’s worth listening to on volume level 11. 😎👍🎸
This song/video brings back memories of high school and how things were as a teenager trying to find my way through those awkward years…this video was relatable even though it was filmed in Canada…✌️
I've heard this song soooo many times because my dad is a huge rush fan. Despite hearing a lot of their music, I never really got into them as much as he did...Probably because I wanted to find my own music interests. Regardless, a Rush song recommendation that'll be different than a lot of the classic recommended songs is their song "Armor and Sword". I remember listening to that song for a good while.
So disregard my previous comment, now you have to hear the live version from Cleveland to compare the two. They were well into their fifties when they recorded it and it was unbelievable!!!
Doing a little deep dive today on your channel and I'm more and more convinced now that you need to hear working man. But do a two-parter do the original and then do the live from Cleveland version. You truly need to do both back to back to truly appreciate it
I highly recommend that you listen to their entire last album clockwork angels from start to finish. It's a true concept album that has a book that accompanies it and I truly believe that it was Rush's best work
First Rush video I ever saw! It was 1982. I was 14 and I lived about an hour west of Toronto and certainly identified with the misfits to which the song was addressed. Made me a fan for life. I'd recommend anything from the same album (Signals), but you could start with Analog Kid and then maybe move on to Digital Man.
It's been too long Dru... Welcome back to some Rush. Just like most RUSH songs the more you listen the more you'll pick up. Let's jump to Counterparts and try Cut to the Chase
