Hi! What type of tapes would you recommend to get for this. I’m finding it hard to find proper blank SVHS tapes so a recommendation would help the search.
I don't have a recommendation. There are a lot of SVHS tapes in japan. Have a look here: buyee.jp/item/search/query/SVHS/category/2084018953?translationType=98
did you ever find out how to seperate the heatsink without damaging anything with what i suspect is a heat sink pad/tape? looking to add additional cooling and re do the heat sink paste to those cpu's that need it
I just purchased a national m3 camera, and it appears to be fully working, but the cassette compartment won’t close. Is there anything that can be done to fix this?
Maybe the back tension is gone or not correct. That can cause audio problems because the tape is a bit slack. Check the back tension band around the supply reel.
My first VCR. Bought in 1982 if I’m not mistaken. Mine still works. Die cast aluminium chassis, BNC connectors for video. Audio, dub, insert edit. Variable slow motion. My next door neighbour had the NV-788 (which was identical, but recorded and played back in LP). Both built like tanks.
I still have a couple of NV-180 recorders, along with the matching tuner / timer VW-ET180. I haven't used them for so long I'd be surprised if they even powered up now. Belts are probably bad as well. Time and lack of use doesn't do these decks any good.
@@Elecami It has been so long since I worked on an NV-180 I can't remember what's inside. Is it all direct drive? Mine are in storage so can't access them easily at the moment.
@@Elecami That's a blessing (I think) - I won't have to worry about tar belts, probably find all the Matsushita caps have leaked all over the PCB and destroyed it!
I used to repair and service these when they were new back in the early 1980s. There was also the NV-788 which looked almost identical, but it had long play and could record 8 hours on a 4 hour cassette.
Is your friend muted most of the time or does he just not talk much? Also, in VR Chat can you no-clip through walls and such or are the boundaries permanently set by the world designer?
He doesn't talk much. When using VR you can lean through walls. Or use a 'playspace mover' to move your view point through walls. Some worlds have a way of preventing you from doing those things. Not sure how that is done. If there is no collider on the wall you can walk through it as if it was not there.
One thing I hate about these boxes Samsung originally said they would always be upgradable but they arnt. When the box fail people are junking the TVs. Why can Samsung just to a cable that allows connection to a hdmi source directly like shield tv, fire stick, Apple TV or a console once the box fails
Good teardown again. The 70V output probably is a bridged configuration of the stereo outputs. That would explain the 70V (2* 35V) and the minimum impedance of 16 Ohms. Power is squared if voltage is doubled (P=U²/R), so the impedance has to be squared to keep the max power the same.
ADSP-21065L Super Harvard Architecture Computer (SHARC) DSP Microcomputer. I've always heard that pronounced as Shark. I wonder if those relays on the speaker output board are just for muting, and soft power-on/off, so that you don't get loud clunks in the speakers on power-on/off.
I just wanted to confirm that your connections are correct. My cable got damaged by rodents last week. Samsung wanted to quote me $350 and 3 months lead time, not to say a visit by tech which cost $100 is mandatory to confirm the cable is damaged. So yeah, thanks for the video. At first I was just connecting the GRND, 0, 13, 350V. Can see the power on the tv button glow red, but no pictures. Not until I spliced the rest of the 6 fibres, then I manage to get it back to normal.
Thank you so much for this! We have pet rats and while they are very sweet, they for some reason have an obsession with fibre optic cables (they are all out of reach now thankfully, we learned fast). What I can't believe is how expensive these cables are to replace, but thanks to your walkthrough I've prepared all the fibres, marked them, and I know someone who has a fusion splicer that has agreed to fix the cables!! Thanks for your work and effort, you've saved us a considerable expense and it really isn't that much work to prepare the fibres
i have a lot to do so im gonna ask here what was the issue? ive got a basic G2 and i believe, based on the inconsistency of its function, that a ribbon came undone, is that what happened to this headset or was it just borked
@@Jaddwhisp It can't be used at all because the some of the devices appear and disappear continually every few seconds. Windows Mixed Reality can't start.
Hola 👋 mi conejo mordía el mío y buscaba como repararlo y ya vi que no es nada fácil , dónde vives en usa? Estoy desesperada y vi que es delación caro comprar uno !
The cost to repair would be similar to buying because it takes a long time to repair. You might be able to find a good price replacement on AliExpress or eBay.
