This Year's Challenge is going to be a real Humdinger as ALL the teams are great in Building rigs & All are great ideas making it hard to decide who to Vote for.
How TF do we vote? Ya'lls site just directs all of the "vote" links, to the middle of the general Build-It Challenge page, where it asks you to join a Elite membership. Are we supposed to be top-tier ($100/yr) members just to vote????.
I see a repeat coming. Nate is my homeboy but Colt is a machine. He’s too good at this stuff! Hopefully y’all will pick my rig as the wild card, and I’ll get to meet him!
The thing is, Nate DOES have a big advantage considering not only was the vehicle purchase price were miraculously and suspiciously a little too good to be true type of deal but that Ian actually accepted as valid, which will ultimately help Nates spending budget. This doesn't surprise me in the least, considering that they didn't even try to hide the fact that they're basically BFFs - this makes plenty of sense considering that they both have similar personalities and mentalities,, surely major inferiority complexes. All of this btw I very proudly admit really does annoy the hell out of me, rubbing me the wrong way, and are exactly the type of individuals that I have the LEAST amount of patience and respect for. I'm purposely being very candid to drive home the fact that unlike Ian over here, my stance of honesty and transparency, in regards to calling things out, just like I see them, will never waver, especially involving things that I'm most passionate about, things such as auto racing, rock crawling, and vehicle performance upgrading, all the way up to these one off builds because what better way to show your support, respect, and love for something then by expressing and showing it the respect and integrity that it so surely deserves, regardless if in being transparent, it potentially might end up weakening your and in this case, my argument or point, which doesn't concern me in the slightest because being as I'm not completely out of my mind, filled with delusional thoughts of grandeur haha, I'm fully aware that no human being has ever been perfectly flawless, lacking any and all faults, while possessing immense, limitless knowledge LOL!!! Not to mention, during the most recent 24 Hours of Hell and Back, in which Colt didn't participate in but that Rory, not only did, but completely dominated the competition, all while using his truly cheaply built buggy - showing off without much effort, his amazing skill in vehicle control from his vast amount of experience he has in off-roading/rock crawling/vehicle dynamics while at the same time DEFINETELY and not so subtly calling out the very same Ian, this very famous/well-known off-roading personality, who btw, drove a rig that probably was twice the cost of Rory's but somehow whether it be of a lack of skill, spoiled entitled attitude, delusions, or his vehicle just wasn't quite up to the terrain or a combination of all of them. Regardless, this Ian fellow was numerous times seen struggling and giving up one obstacle here, another obstacle there, finally backing up and taking the bypass, occasionally automatically taking the bypass, without even putting a single wheel on the particular challenge. Either way, it wasn't a good look and Rory being Rory, and one of the big reasons I respect the man, didn't hesitate to call out what he saw! I apologize for the numerous grammatical errors and the length of my rant, but like Rory and unlike Ian, I don't have an inferiority complex or any type pf delusional thoughts and I'm upfront with my thought process and open to hear what other think. Its also why I responded to this comment in particular. I remember having nothing against Ian at all until I saw his attitude and performance on that particular challenge and had me checking my head and literally laughing out loud but as others will agree and attest to, with this social media generation, its becoming very normal to see somebody's through character and integrity, and what in the end motivates them. So because I will in fact that a screenshot of my comment, I will double down and say that I'd be surprised that this comment doesn't get removed BUT also, that deservingly or not, Nate will be the winner of this competition. I mean, just look at Colt and Rory's team being insanely penalized because Ian decides its completely and ignorantly logical that Colts Wrangler, that he already owned, was worth $7500 LOL - Are you kidding me???? I wonder if Ian would buy my friends Wrangler that is in a little better state then Colts (from the looks of it) for $7500 of his own money!!! I mean, it be another thing if Colt's Wrangler already had, lets say a Dodge Cummins diesel motor in it already for instance. I almost forgot one other thing! If you recall during last year's OnX Off Road Build-Off, Nate somehow also got the best deal I ever heard of for that Lexus LX450 that was in pretty mint condition!!!! Something is just off and super suspicious here - although maybe I'm completely out of my mind, but if you look at all the clues, and give it your own due diligence, and if you're as logical a thinker as I am, red flags seem to keep popping up.
What a great combination of talent. 2 very capable guys. I would love to hear the discussions on how to change things. Colt isn't in his own this year!!! Couple other talented teams to watch as well. Should be fun.
@@LaDonnashielded-kc7zm not sure about the confusion. My comment was about Colt doing all the work last year. Not just that, he is the only one still using it in a regular basis. I have great respect for Colt and Rory. Both capable and knowledgeable. Best combo. Doesn't mean a couple other teams don't have at least one knowledgeable person.
@@LaDonnashielded-kc7zm I can understand. My phone likes to change on with in , if with of and I don't proof read. We both agree on the important parts. 👍
I thought the competition was building an overlander,? Robby and Paul are building overlanders. I don't know about the other guys. And "Colt Cheats" crying the most about the budget, again... #coltcheats #trailmater
I can't wait to see Rory and Colt inside of the Pacer. I don't think many realize just how large both of these men are. This build is going to be a "dean" as Peck Brothers say
Been using onX for over 4 years now in Colorado and Moab. Its as important as my winch, highlift or spare tire. If your lost on a trail or even getting to it then what ?? I love Colt and Rory they are my off-road heros !!
Yall have to pick me, these are all the guys I spend hours watching and have convinced me to work on my projects and I can still remember watching Ian and Jessie every sat morning building stuff. This would be my dream come true. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dZ4nxxSK-0I.htmlfeature=shared
Whatever you do, don't forget your password or try deleting your account. The forgot password option is completely broken. I ended up deleting my account because I was upset that I couldn't see property lines with the $30 subscription, Which was my fault. But I tried to create a new account and it keep saying there is already a account associated with my email but it won't let me login in the my account because it won't let me reset my password. If I was able to get into my account I would pay them another $100 to get the property line feature that I want. There customer support is a joke and a waste of time. On x offroad is missing out on a $100 subscription even though I bought a $30 sub 2 weeks ago 😅
My boyfriend and I (both 60-somethings from north central Tx) usually off-road with his ‘79 CJ-7 Jeep. I recently purchased a 2015 Jeep Wrangler JK that I am taking out on her maiden voyage this weekend at Bridgeport, TX. We usually use a combination of the paper map and OnX. Hoping to become more proficient with OnX by watching your RU-vid channel.
19:11 I agree with you Ian that they may have very well hit a wall. This strategy leaves them very little for parts. Definitely will be interesting to see how this plays out.
I know it was flagged as Bleepin Jeep last year, but I really think their win was in large part Colt’s personal win. No disrespect to Matt, but in a head to head with Colt, I’d say Colt would win.
