I know this was a year ago, but it’s a good review. I’d just like to ask, you say you spent £34:85. but I didn’t hear how many miles you covered in total. Any chance of an update?
i see every one saying its expensive :D how much it cost around your area? I am from Azerbaijan and aroun my place full version of this car with all options and 510km range (Here its name is Honda e:NS1) costs $28.900. I think its a fair price.
Can anyone tell me if the steering wheel has reach and rake? I’ve noticed in most MG’s I’ve looked at they only have rake, and that’s a no deal for me because I have really long legs and need the steering wheel close to me 😂
Finally, someone with a normal height for my reference 😅 I have seen like 30 reviews of this car with RU-vidrs that are 6 feet tall or more and they look like a giant in the back seats. But you demonstrated that there's a lot of room in the back for normal/short people like me and my family. That's a relief!
I got this as my first EV 90 days ago and it’s been a great car. Sporty, Fast, great drive and different than anything else. Twice a week people stop to ask about it
Any news on when they might overhaul/facelift/update the entire MX-30 lineup? Needs wireless for the cabin and a better main screen...its so 2020 overall.
What you neglected to say was that EVs are only cost effective if you have off street home charging or cheap charging at work. The cost of public charging is now generally more expensive per mile than filing with petrol - and certainly diesel. Even home charging will not deliver substantial cost savings unless you move to a low cost overnight EV tariff. With the very high early depreciation on EVs the private buyer is much better advised to buy a 1-2 year old used vehicle, which will be comparably priced to a similar ICE vehicle despite probably having a higher specification such as SatNav and heated seats. It is usually a no brainer for a business car user to switch to an EV because of the huge Benefit in Kind tax savings but the financial benefit for a private buyer needs much more evaluation.
I'm a Civic owner and had this recently for a days test drive. Absolutely loved it. Yes it feels familiar in many ways but the extra touches are great. Order mine tomorrow, (advance) with the white interior obviously 😊 Loved the whole experience and although I thought I'd never go to EV this car sold me and I'm a petrol head! You can also get some really good deals now as Honda have dropped the price since this video and the finance deals are pretty good too.
"pop sounds" have been banned by type approval , also due to this trend they lowered the decibel levels as a punishment to the manufacturers who were cheating the noise regs
The all electric mx 30 had a pretty disapointing electric range so they have made this with less than half the electric range, oops now if they still had the 100 mile electric range with this system , success...what ev car makers seem to have forgotten is charging at home is the cheap to run and convenient bit, now i know people will say ,what if you cant charge at home, simple dont get an ev. wow mazda that engine is noisy , why did'nt you put it in the back
I have the Hyundai ionic 2018 premium, its a very nice car and my next car will be Hyundai Kona ,i need something higher, but not too big ,and Kona fits perfectly 👌
