The criticized "stick" or "toggle" for controlling the audio (vol. up, down, mute, change stations, source, titles, etc.) on the side of the steering wheel is absolutely the BEST device compared to what any other car brands use. You can use it very intuitively and easily even at night with just the tips of your fingers while holding the st. wheel, without looking and having to touch the infotainment screen or some knob on the dash and thus get distracted from driving. And I also consider it much better than when the controls are placed directly on the steering wheel. I honestly dont understand how anyone can not like or appreciate it ...
Completely agree! People don’t understand the “stick” because they haven’t got used to it. Clever design and intuitive, you don’t need to look the the buttons because your finger tips know where everything is.
As a Clio driver (and just ordered the Esprit Alpine three weeks ago :D) I wholeheartedly agree. The 'stick' is just great and honestly...by now it would annoy me if I had the options on the wheel itself :D
This is amazing! Despite the “french car” jokes it’s quite economic and great car! I personally own a Renault Clio 2011 and its my first car and I love it so much and I can’t wait to buy this one it will be a major upgrade 😇
How can you review a car without driving it? How does it handle. perform? WHat are the auto gear controls like. What is kick-down like? Hardly a review more a "well it looks nice..."
Completely agree with you there fella they are missing out on what could have been a serious hot hatch & I seriously would have considered one if it was like the rs trophy but the fiesta st it will have to be!!! 😁Great review young man!! 👌🏻👍🏻
I am glad i watched the whole video. I initially though, here is some young guy who thinks he is a top gear presenter. Well what a nonsense that was. Informative, well presented presentation and very knowledgable. well done
I like the fact that its not turbo exactly because its the same reliable naturally aspirated 1.6 K4 engine platform And if you are into it, theres much to squeaze out of the engine with tuning.
"pop sounds" have been banned by type approval , also due to this trend they lowered the decibel levels as a punishment to the manufacturers who were cheating the noise regs
As nice as it is, I will stick with My lutecia, there's only 300 of them in the whole of the UK and thats mostly 1 litre manuals, so even less E tech lutecia out there they actually feel exclusive, they have a unique interior also with the brass trim, it also has every single feature that this car has except the 10 inch drivers display and wireless android auto. They have missed out massively there by not doing as you say a hot hatch, it's actually diluted the brand alpine with it being a race brand. All car marketing idiots do it now though, mecades with amg line and bmw with their m sport, they charge through the nose for it and its literally just a styling pack, which dilutes their performance brand aswell....all marketing idiocy if you ask me. None the less great review, let's hope that the alpine A290 B is the one to watch out for! :)
Clio Williams was beautiful car for the era and has already better hp then this one absolutely beast. Now this new model is beautiful but very poor performance
@@TheAllMightyGodofCod perhaps, but car brands nowadays are using a more matte grey color which I think looks awesome! ☺ You're absolutely right about the blue color though, I think the car looks great in it as well!
@@mmaleixo I don't like these new matte colours... I am more into metallic ones like this awesome blue or that candy orange you sometimes see on Clio's. I hope you get an awesome Clio in a stunning colour and I wish that you may always have amazing codfish at your table! 🙂 Have a nice day!
@@TheAllMightyGodofCod ahahah I'm the opposite, I'm obsessed with the matte grey color and I hope to get either the new clio when it releases here in Portugal or the Vw Golf 😍. And yesss cod is awesome 😂 😂, I hope you have a great day as well!
