Brieniak.
How does she know that the blur needed the book of Rao? She stole it from Clark, the fake blur wanted it, how does she know that the real Blur needs it?
This is one of the best character-driven scenes, in the entire 10-season run of "Smallville". Julian Sands (RIP) and Helen Slater both did truly amazing work here, and even though the scene doesn't last very long, its emotional impact touched both Clark and the audience very deeply.
I think he’s a great Zod, his intellect and character are wonderfully portrayed. But I do agree that he doesn’t look “buff” enough. I mean, he’s supposed to be a warrior. A powerful warrior, powerful in mind and body. If Callum Blue had worked out a bit more, he’d have been perfect. That’s why I think that Michael Shannon’s Zod is the best because he portrays Zod’s cold intellect perfectly, but he also has the physique of a ruthless soldier!
Season 9 would of been a great season to see Kara back especially since she “heard rumors kandor still exists” It did, In the orb!! Biggest plot hole Kara searching for kandor and it was the damn orb. She could have returned and found out one these clones was her mother. I always hoped Alia would have been Kara’s mother but of course way before she had Kara.
I noticed that when Tess was facing off against Chloe she was confident but the moment Clark took her she was terrified. She knows what Clark is capable of and that she's no match for him.
Would’ve loved to see the reactions of Clark’s friends. This is such a badass moment in the series. The determination and duty to protect the future is something Clark was somewhat missing. He was always reluctant, but in this moment he took the initiative to prevent such bad future. Love Smallville!!!!
The writers make the Kryptonian civilization and culture sound so barbaric and primitive. . We humans have dealt with the desire of revenge and honor killings by establishing laws and courts. A desire for revenge is such a primitive emotion, it is something that must be curbed if civilization is to prosper .. read Eumenides by Aeschylus... instead of revenge, lawful courts, trial by your peers, also, mercy and forgiveness. Revenge killings only sow more violence into a society.
I mean, she would have heard the accent even on the voice altered phone calls surely. Ugh I adored Clark and Lois on that season but I haaaaated the guy they cast as Zod, I cringe every time he speaks.
I really don't like this version of Jor-el.. he's like a helicopter parent. .. Kal-El is an adult. He has to learn things without Jor-el's constant nagging control. Jor-El should have progammed the computer to allow Kal-El to reach adult hood and then, let him learn the way all adults do, trial and error.
Thinking about watching the entire series again...I wish he would have said something about the 'S" not being an 'S' - it's a coincidence that the family crest of the Kryptonian family of El resembles our S. If you look at the original 1978 movie most of the science council bear a crest(s) on their chests... one look looks like an upside down L...
I was never a fan of this moment for the character. Imagine the collateral damage caused by those towers collapsing. It seemed a little reckless, even for a young Superman. I'm sure there was another way he could have disbanded the tower.
Does anyone know what that soundtrack is? I can't seem to find out anywhere. (They used in the Lex and Clark argument scene in Descent: S7 EP 16). Usually that leaves a trace.
He could’ve literally saved her and given her powers if he just gave her some of his blood. She would’ve gotten superpowers and the kid would still be alive.
