What’s up guys, my name is Kyle and I like to work on diesel trucks. I know how expensive these things are so hopefully some of my videos can help you save a few bucks, if not then I hope you at least enjoyed them!

Yeah I know and the 23-24 trucks you can only do stock power. My understanding is they are still learning more about the newer ecms, I’m assuming in the future you’ll have more options.
I was checking out their website and it says the tune will only add up to 55hp for a 2022. I wish there was a different tune you could upgrade to for more power.
Hello. I’m from Alberta and love your videos. I’m in the market for a new welding rig and wondering what you recommend out of the 3? I’m not brand loyal but want something reliable and not have issues as I can’t afford down time. I’m highly considering going gas and my last diesel was a 08 Cummins and it was so so lol
I just did a delete on my 2018. My truck started after tuning with the EZlynk, But after I removed DPF and EGR/Cooler, The truck turns on but won't start. Dont even notice the starter trying to start. Any recommendations
Anyone have trouble on the 08 third gen. Or maybe fourth with having a gearbox steering stabalizer(square tube infront of the sway bar) and not being able to turn the crank? I cant get a bar in there because of the stabalizer no room. Tried between the rad and shround and it worked somewhat but now its stuck and i cant turn it more
I wouldn't recommend deleting unless you're actively having problems constantly. I had a terrible experience with proven diesel and so far haven't been all that impressed with the truck compared to stock
@darkirondiesel they use the same tunes out of a can essentially despite marketing themselves as some boutique tuner that does custom work. Funny thing is I asked if they could change individual parameters and the tech support guy said he has absolutely no idea how the software even works or what it changes. He said he basically just plays on a drag and drop interface with the information you give them. For the 2018 dodge like mine it was basically determined that that file was defective so I got a 2017 tune instead
So its not sotf? I can't seem to find any answers. I mean i like slipping through traffic getting on the interstate and if I'm in tow tune2 and need a bit of tq i can just turn the knob.
You can change it while driving. Did you notice the 2nd half of the video where the truck was running? You can do that while cruising down the interstate. Here’s the link to the kit I used that comes with everything. shrsl.com/4ke0x
You're not gay... Because you don't use Android? You use apple, and yet the CEO is gay and the first openly gay CEO in history to come out. Who's gay now? I bet he threw your phone in his boxers for a day before it was shipped to you lol. 🎉
That’s a tuning issue not a can bus plug issue. Contact the company that wrote your tunes. Sometimes you have to flash a “reset” file to get it to clear.
the tuning on that doesn't take care of def guage/warning light? i just deleted my 19 cummins with the kit from dirty diesel customs. i just did the single tune on the efi live tuner rather than the multiple with selector knob but the tune has my def level at 100% so no dash lights on. having that on would drive ne nuts lol
Ya I saw that. The military gets factory deleted powerstrokes because they need reliability. But I guess the common working men that build America don’t deserve the reliability. What a joke.
We are about to undertake this project and are stoked to have this great tutorial to help. Thank you! You seem professional and pretty chill. Mahalo from Maui! Where are you?
I wish they made a kit that you could switch back and forth with a knob to delete and un-delete. I live in CO in a county that doesn't require admissions, so I should be fine. But I'm nervous if I move or my county every becomes uber liberal. Great vid though! I may have to play around and gamble a bit once my warranty expires.
There wouldn’t be any way of doing that because you can program the stock file back onto the truck but you’d have to put the factory exhaust back on too
Amazing Job! Its hard enough but with your camera I cant imagine how difficult that job would be.. Great jog though.. I am thinking about getting a 17 one ton dually crew and deleting it with all the parts from Diesel dudes.. I totally think it will be worth it in the long and short run!! Thanks again buddy!!
Did my buddies Duramax (lml) this year. Took forever cause we never get time off🙄 we swapped the cp4, proflow manifolds and up pipes and new y bridge and intake. It used to run 13 mpg and it runs a solid 22 now. It was too aggressive😂 (over reving the engine) and couldn't floor it kinda like you said here and was breaking the tires loose (35's) so we detuned it to 75hp. haven't finished the exhaust LoL it dumps out the downpipe but super clean tune we're really happy so far lag is non-existent now👍👍👍 and it sounds 🤩 amazing 🤩 no smoke at all👍
When you disconnect the def injection line, will def come out? Is one of the plugs that you use from the kit to plug the line or does it not need anything? Do you just leave the def tank alone? Are there any concerns just leaving a half full def tank forever more?
I don't think those transmissions are as tough as they should be. Have a buddy that does hotshot trucking and he traded his Ram that had 400kmi on a new (at the time) 22 alumiduty. He wanted to try the 10 speed transmission. He lost his transmission and the CP4 fuel pump within 40k miles. Transmission went out first and the CP4 a few thousand miles later. Warranty covered it, but he was states away and specifically the CP4 took over a month due to back ordered parts. He was basically forced into buying another RAM because he couldn't afford to wait. Trucks not rolling, it's not making any money.
@@Scottypowpow the tune didn’t ruin the transmission and it wasn’t the tuner‘s fault I even had PPEI trans tuning. This transmission just simply failed even with all the supporting mods. It’s just a shitty transmission the clutch hub that the input shaft spines into are made out of aluminum!!!!! which is bonkers blows my mind how crappy these transmissions are
@@awdeveau well gotta be careful even with the 2019+ Rams and their hydraulic lifter failures, taking out motors left and right my buddy owns a fleet of 2019+ rams and had five of them go down in one year all needing new motors plus they’re 68 RFE transmission isn’t the best either I think the best Truck ever made is a fourth GEN Cummins with the six speed Allison but that’s only offered in the 3500 1 ton line of trucks that are pretty pricey but from working in the oil fields with a bunch of hotshot drivers, they always pointed to that truck as being the best
