Limited to only 600 units worldwide, btw. I ordered mine about yesterday. I have ZERO idea who this cat is. I don't know him or his music, but I love the look of this model. Jakey Lou Williams, aka Jake E. Lee, used one to great effect when I saw him with Ozzy in 1985. That's good enough for me. Plus, it comes with the hardshell case. To quote Jimi @ Monterey, "Yeah, baby. Dig that one."
X74 cool down dog LMFAO i got this this....this is my go to guitar .. i set it up my self bought the tools and built anothere guitar besides this one DUD man butty .... a yr ago
I love Dom he is one of the nicest people I have ever met. He made sure that I was OK because I was getting crushed. I am a wheelchair user, but I wish the people in charge could have done something like a starter kit or something More affordable because it is $600, which is like £464 as he said, he wanted to make the guitar and the music industry more accessible and less privileged
So we essentially released another Billie Joe Armstrong Green Day guitar, lol. Just the case is different, but basically same white SG Jr with a P-90. 😂😂😂
can’t say i’ve ever been a fan of his music, but i will never turn down a white sg junior. just pure class and refinement for such a simple guitar, it’s the perfect sg in my eyes
@@LarrytheMan-uc4ev if you want to simp for Gibson raising prices go right ahead but this is stripped back from an SG Special which is currently priced at $449. Is a case and a sticker really worth that much to you?
@@connor_ge price will go up and rightfully so ..If you can't afford Epiphones go buy something you can afford.. Epiphone isn't going to lower prices not with the specs they carry and they shouldn't have too
Never been a Yungblud fan, but he seems like a fairly cool fellow. This SG Junior is a homerun. Been waiting on a proper set-neck Epi SG Junior for decades. Glad to finally be able to get it. 'Scuse me, I have an order to place!
@@goosegaskinswhen you have a Gibson headstock on a epiphone it's not a pure breed it's now a hybrid I'm a epiphone collector I want my Epiphones to have the proper epiphone headstock or I wouldn't buy
@@FrankBuyers...guitarista-iu3zg Gotcha! So this one has the proper Epiphone headstock, which tends to be a bit longer than the Gibson headstocks, right?
@@deezee8508 Cant enjoy life if the things you have doesn't bring you joy. I have normal sized hands, so I enjoy a 50's style neck shape more than a slim taper C, but if that's you thing, have at it, I wont criticize of pass judgment.
Every age has their genre, when I was 6-13 I'd listen to pop music any time, and many pop songs would be very fun listen to, so I don't judge every genre just because now I prefer more complex stuff.
That's guitar is 600 dollars and comes with that sick case as well. Only white though. :( If they made it in black, it would be on the way to me. :) Super cool rig.
The pickups on the Epiphone seem to have more midrange bite. Maybe they’re not as period accurate, but I thought they sounded better. There was always variation in vintage pickups anyway; sometimes they would get left on the winding machine a little longer and would be hotter and more midrange-y.
@@mretrain I ordered an Epi Firebird one month ago. It just came in and I should get it in a day or two. I got the Epiphone hard case too. I think those Firebirds are way underpriced.
If they were made in the USA, they would cost about the same as a Gibson Les Paul Custom (over €5,000). Look at the prices of Epiphone US models like the Casino: it's around 4 times more expensive than the Chinese model.
@@tagadabrothersband okay, so which country then? I remember if Epiphone Japan had same "open book" headstock shape too like that IGC. So, Made in Japan or Made in Korea will be good. But if it's made in China, I guess it probably would feels like a crap.
That scond epi custom sounds AWESOME!!! I have a Epiphone ustom Les Paul from 1996 with a very small neck, it's not that 60's slim taper C, it must be something else. Almost like one of those super small Jackson ones from the 80's. I love it!
A few months ago I just got the 2022 alpine white Epi LP custom for $649 brand new out the door no tax. Mainly wanted to have a decent guitar for jammin’ with my E-flat tuning homies; and I’ve always wanted a Gibson LP custom with the pearl split diamond headstock inlay. Went a lil crazy on this one So after the $649 I put in gold keystone Grover locking tuners, gold knobs, gold/gold DiMarzio super distortion in the bridge, white Steve Morse with gold posts in the neck, stew Mac push/pull CTS full wire kit etc, swapped the volume/tone positions so the bridge volume /tone controls are closer to the pickup, the thing screams. …then I see the 2024 with the legit Gibson headstock. Lol …all I wanted was the damn headstock haha. But for the price, I spent less than the 2024 and its completely customized now 😂 …I woulda just got the damn 2024 with the case 😅
