"Ape Object" was started in 2019 by sculptor Lee Jung-hyun in Seoul, Korea. Based on traditional sculpting methods, he produces jewelry and objects for personal possession and appreciation.
- Hand Carving based on Craftsmanship - All the Artworks of "Ape Object" carved according to the traditional method of sculpture. Dots and lines made during the sculpting process become numerous cross-sections and eventually form a single shape. Sensation and experience of the fingertip are tools to make this happen. This process reflects the artist’s individuality and aesthetic consciousness. All creations are cast using the ‘Lost-Wax’ technique and finished in the hands of ”Ape Object”.
Wish I could have a ring like this for myself with a gemstone that I've faceted myself; or even have a gemstone that I've cut set into it for it to be sold.
Throughout the entire video I was tunnel visioning in the fact the wax didn’t melt even slightly from the heat of your fingers Is it some kind of special melt resistant wax?? Regardless, incredibly well done
Esté hombre es muy bueno tallando sobre relieve, parece una máquina, prefiero éste trabajó artesanal qué él proyectado por maquinas de tres dimensiones. 😊
This is insanely good!! I admire your skills. It's pure art. It's perfection! One can see that you love your profession. All those details and the precision. Thank you for sharing this. I am kind of jealous of your skills and work, but in an absolutely positive way 🥰❤️
