i think ive had more hate comments left on my channel from the Multiversus community after a game I played against someone, than i ever had in the 8 years of me playing Xenoverse 2. And that game... Is the most toxic game i have ever played lmao
The game is toxic. I just hate the fact that these people just emote and teabag and think that they are better. I’m over here saying “bitch you are not better than me” when I lose to a person who spams a lot. The crazy thing too is that when you are doing a warm up match and you lost to that spammer, they would do the salt emote and teabag. Overall this game is toxic.
I feel like the worst parts of the game isn’t even the game itself It’s the toxic players and toxic content creators that love spreading so much crap about a “dead game” just so they can get views
The game itself promotes the toxicity whit things like the emotes or ringouts efects, so i think the community should embrace the toxicity and enjoy the game
I completely agree. At one point, match after match I had Teabag from every player. It sucks, thats why I quit the game. I get on the game to detoxify, theres no need to upset people when theres no incentive to.
Game feels floaty and slow even casuals don’t like it, approaching is crap that’s why people camp a lot and the devs even put a salt ring out and have unbalance charcaters what a joke
Map sucks too , hitboxes are ass like come on I have 5k games on this and I can’t defend this game anymore, all the characters play all the same as well, utter trash
Im happi that this video popped up on my home page cause this vid needed to get made the community really is so toxic its truly terrible for mvs and we have to do better especially if we want this game to last so i hope this video spreads to more people that play the game cause more need to hear this and thank you for making this video. ❤
@Achromics the hitboxes are atrocious. You have to pay for each character AND then a costume AND then a battlepass so WB is greedy. The game doesn't have fun finishing moves so all the matches end feeling meaningless because you didn't smash attack to finish. The character animation dont match the severity of the attacks
@@dr.wolfstar1765 Valid points for sure but you can't expect MVS to take everything that makes Smash good. They have to differentiate in some way if they want to compete at all.
You'll probably disagree with this but honestly the Multiversus community should just embrace the toxicity and start running entertaining beef sets instead of crying on twitter. I'd rather click on a good beef set than any other Multiversus video/stream

Yep even in game people are so toxic. Like I get it you don’t touch grass and play this game all day but you don’t have to emote and teabag while you camp the whole game. It’s so frustrating I just turn the game off. Also the way matchmaking works is garbage. I haven’t played much this season so I’m in gold and constantly getting placed against diamond and masters. And they are the most toxic players tbh.
i play a decent amount of fighting games but this has to be the most childish player base i've ever seen.. you're lucky NOT to get emoted or tea bagged in a match. maybe because it's free and more kids/poor ppl play? i dunno..

Sad to see you drop Rick, but I don't blame you. Ever since that last update slowed his jab I can't consistently combo with him anymore, and he's just frustrating to use now. It doesn't help that they finally gave us a Rick Prime skin and the animations are bugged on it.
That meseeks into megaseed aerial isnt something I had considered. I'll start trying for that. One I saw in ranked that ive never seen before is, at the edge of the arena, grounded side combo 1 into side combo 2 into cyber skiis special into side air. Dude killed me at low damage. I haven't been abke to replicate it yet, and I'm not sure if it was before or after the nerf patch. Just figured I'd share it. Reminded me of that superman combo where he just walks you out of the side XD.
@@Achromics he's still usable, but nowhere near what he used to be. Definitely benefits from skill, unpredictability and good hard reads. My main issue at this point is that some character matchups just completely shut him down even when I'm at my best. Harleys that spam side air and dash attack, Wonder Womans that spam side special/grounded down/air up special, and Tom and Jerry's. Tom and Jerry surprised me with how easily they can completely shut Rick down. Shooting Jerry followed by a dash attack or up attack (the paddleball) pretty much completely locks him out of any approaches or projectile attacks. Jerry kills any meseeks attempts, Tom low profiles the laser beams while dash attacking. And Rick has a wind up on everything so the TnJ player knows to paddleball if you try to jump over the Jerry shot. And if you dodge the dash attack from Tom, he's already scooped Jerry back up and is launching him at you again. Just a pure game of keep away and then batting you with a 10' pole more or less. There is a solution to all of these, but I hate to say I'm terrible at it. Parrying. Gonna have to map neutral dodge to my left bumper and practice up XD
Rick's basic combo is so slow now I literally thought my game was lagging and experiencing slowdown. He just plays like he's under water now. He feels awful.
Yo i completely forgot to check out this video. I DID NOT EXPECT YOU TO BE MR28. But yeah this game is hella hella good. You hit just about every point that I could think of. I feel like people gloss over the game when they see the market and go "Oh i can just buy all the weapons and frames i need with this premium currency this game is clearly p2w." (Also i did not know the furis incarnon hit that hard)

Nice gameplay 🩵❤️🔥 I’m glad someone said it. The changes feel pretty bad so far ngl. Can’t really punish fast characters with jab because it’s so slow they can miss their jab or attack, dodge and then hit you all in the space of time it takes for one of Rick’s jab inputs to come out (the full string is stupid slow too for the buffed rocket to even feel impactful esp compared to beta where it connected, could be held/baited and could kill confirm. It also feels like whip drops more often now, and even during the bugs match here around 7:42 jab 1 into whip dropped (used to be a reliable kill confirm too), jab 2 into 3 doesn’t even connect at 5:46 (as far as I could tell bugs was in hitstun still and didn’t dodge or DI up) and portal combo feels inconsistent now. Not to mention the vertical ringout zone increase so now whip is even less likely to kill until they’re 140+ Fart bomb “buff” is negligible at best, feels like it just made it worse for edge guarding? Idk if it’s just me but it doesn’t drop as far before detonating so it’s much less useful for it. It also feels like Rick doesn’t have much priority on any attack tbh. He feels fine in 2s still but in 1s the magic is kinda gone, just doesn’t feel as fun with all the inconsistency now.
@@Hexanthine I’m glad someone else is seeing the issues with Rick in this update bro omg. I didn’t wanna jump the gun but it’s not looking very good for us tbh. Might start actually moving on from Rick or just the game as a whole if I don’t enjoy anyone else. I definitely will give it a fair shot though since a couple of other characters look fun to me (Agent Smith, Superman, Batman)
@@Achromics Yeah, that’s just it, it’s a playstyle versatility/combo nerf dressed up as a buff. It’s not like rocket being able to kill is new either, they just removed that from beta to live (as well as jetpack spike sweet spot and a number of other things), where his jab string was much faster back then so rocket could actually be used as an edge guard or offensively/as a distance projectile. Right now it’s just too slow of a string to be used like that effectively. I haven’t really seen anyone talk about it either before this video because most people who don’t actually play him just take patch notes at face value and say he got buffed and so few people played Rick as it was so it’s hard to tell Rick players perceptions of it and the new best ways to adapt? It might even just be that he needs his hitboxes fixed (so whip and portal combos don’t randomly drop) but even so the jab speed nerf would still be overboard when compared to the jab/whiff of other characters who can get way more value off of a single jab. I’m kind of the same tbh, I’m taking a break from the game because of the weird balance decisions, if the jab was the problem, why not just nerf the hitbox size, not the speed and whiff? Meanwhile Joker jab and Jack jab are still crazy and much faster/have lower whiff recovery. Not to mention Rick has always had problems with lazer not connecting due to short character height (gizmo and arya got changed but some characters like finn can still run under it when he has a projectile block move) so approaching is even worse now. He was the most fun character for me and now his approach options and combos have been kinda limited, combined with attacks randomly dropping and jab being too slow to actually punish others whiffed attacks it’s more frustrating than fun even when winning a match. The balance of the game finally got to me when Rick got nerfed due to a jab/sair combo that required dodge (self limiting resource) or a portal cancel loop bug/exploit (which could have been fixed tbh) when Velma just got buffed to have an easy combo game and a zero to death. 💀 I really hope they revisit him in future, but I don’t know how much hope I have left for their balance decisions tbh. Thanks for addressing the concerns with changes though. It’s nice to know I’m not the only one seeing these issues All the best 🩵 it’s kinda rough right now. The fart bomb buff is really a nerf to edge guarding, the bomb detonates earlier and can't fall much further anymore. It's now a bit faster to use on the ground, but doesn't make up for the lost edge guard potential for me. The triple nerf on the jab was insane, from the best jab in the game to the worst one, it's too unpleasant and risky to use now. You can't whiff punish by reaction with jab anymore, only by prediction. I hope they revert at least the startup, it gives a terrible feel to the move, in the best case they revert the endlag too and maintain only the shorter range. At the same time, realistically, I think they'll probably keep Rick in this state, to promove a camping fighting style with lasers, meseeks and portal.

Jab 1 is awful, against slow characters it's fine but any fast characters it's hard to whiff punish them now but I guess I gotta keep playing him and figure it out
You have to double tap the portal to open up a singular portal, but it's not possible mid combo. Your opponent won't be in hitstun long enough to open it up and continue your combo.
Looking forward to getting back into the game been busy with uni shit, looks like some good changes but beetlejuice is not gonna save us from samurai jack fest unfortunately lmfao
I'm with you on the Beetlejuice shit tbh. Idk why they're adding niche characters when the game is in a troubled state, but I think they'll turn it around
