corrupted golem: think of an iron golem thats been infected by sculk thats found in caves at deepslate level, its slow but can charge you using a sculk shrieker on its back like a thruster, but if it hits a wall it can get stunned. its immune to projectiles (they get reflected back) unless you shoot it in the eye or the shrieker on its back (or if its stunned you can melee attack it) you can either try to kill it (high HP but drops more iron or something new) or you can use shears to try and remove the sculk (easier than killing it, but riskier)
Great job! But I would like to see more tame mobs in fashion, and also fix a bug with the fact that my tamed heb crab attacks my friend in multiplayer mode. Otherwise, the mod is great! Many thanks to the author for the fact that he exists!
Seeing as how I've noticed nobody brought up The Promised Land as their favorite BOP dimension/biome, so I guess I can share my bit of two cents here. I can remember during a solo playthrough of FTB Infinity Evolved I had found some remnants of Biome O Plenty's "The Promised Land" which was a "post-endgame" dimension that featured multiple unique biomes. The reason I said "remnants" was because the modpack I was playing was only available for 1.7.10, and The Promised Land was removed sometime during the mod's transition between 1.6.2 & 1.7.10. All of the content relating to the dimension still existed however, but was mostly unobtainable. After finding this out, I found & downloaded the older version of BOP that still had the Promised Land fully intact. With all of that being said, I can remember that despite the horrendous lag spikes with the terrain generation & constant FPS drops due to excessive amount of Pixies spawning, it definitely had some of the prettier looking set of biomes (along with a gorgeous dimension) that I wish would see some sort of comeback, even if it was an unofficial add-on made by the modding community. On a side note, I can remember going out to the co-ordinates of where The Far Lands normally start to generate within the Promised Land. Somehow they were able to generate despite The Far Lands getting removed back in Beta 1.8. Also, my game & framerate was MUCH more stable there. It's truly my #1 favorite location from Biomes O Plenty... even if it is gone.
Been playing Minecraft for well over a decade and I gotta say, this is one of the best hostile mob mods I’ve used. Recently started a 1.20.1 world with this. It really does feel Vanilla+. The mobs make me feel uneasy every time I go into caves, which is something I haven’t felt in a really long time. The creeper variants in particular are kinda terrifying - so is the vampire. I’ve died to the Faller a few times now lol. Nice job with the mod.
Don't know if it's intentional or not but while playing in a pack I made with this mod included, hostile mobs would continue to spawn even in dimly lit spaces in the underground like the old way vanilla hostile mobs spawned. I was running the most recent version of the mod in 1.20.1 if that makes a difference. I do really like the mobs this adds it just makes the game painful with their spawns not working like vanilla mobs.
As for your question, my idea would be something that enhances mine-shafts and storage since those factors are quite plain without the use of excess mods The Mimic: It dwells within Mineshafts, souls infused into loot. Mimics spawn as chest minecarts and sit waiting for them to be opened. They are almost the exact same as chest minecarts being identical in shape and behaviour, except it makes small little grunting noises (strider noises if you want) upon being close enough. Opening the mimic or attacking it will transform itself into the Mimic's chest form, biting you for 4 hearts of damage and running away. Mimic's can spawn in the place of regular Chest Minecarts. If the Mimic stays out of eyesight for a good amount of time, it will transform back into its chest minecart form somewhere else within the mineshaft. Killing a Mimic will drop their eyes, consuming them will highlight nearby chests within a 30 block radius allowing you to locate loot more efficiently. Mimics upon retreating have a low percent chance to transform into the following after being out of eyeline: Cave Spiders, Vampire, Zombie, Creeper, Skeleton, Spider etc. However, they have less health than their regular counter-parts making them easier to kill (they will have the exact same AI as the mob counterpart, just less health) Mimics in their chest form look like normal chests except their bodies are covered head to toe in sculk and the inside of their chest mouths have the same effect as the inside of sculk shriekers. They have swirling eyes on the top of their chest head. They have rows of sharp teeth that are the colour of stone. Feeding a Mimic (In Minecart Chest form) an echo shard will allow one to tame it. Tamed Mimics will stay in their chest form and can be commanded to sit (which will turn them into a block) or follow. Mimic's start with an inventory slot of a normal singular chest but feeding them more echo shards will expand their inventory by two slots each time with a maximum amount of slots compared to two double chests. If another player opens the Mimic chest, the Mimic will aggro onto the player that opened it, attacking them until they leave their follow range. Conclusion: Adds towards storage part of MC, Adds a simple security system towards storage protection, enhances loot exploration, gives life towards the lifeless mineshafts, adds a new challenge towards killing them since they can dissapear without a trace, transform into other enemies to provide a new combat experience
This mod, and Born in chaos, are my favorite MCreator mods. They are SO good despite being from mcreator. Love it to the bones. Mob concept: support for range enemies; it hovers right above you (so in order to attack him you have to look directly upwards) and pulls you in air, lifting slowly and immobilizing.
an enemy like a silver fish or a gohst that has its own unique way of going through walls/blocks. For example only being able to breathe in blocks but in the air it sufficates so vise versa of what would normaly happen with mobs inside blocks. cool mod btw i love the designs and everything and ive allready tested the mod in my modpack out and theyre so op if you have a leveling system🥲. appreciate the good work and hard work you put into this 👍.
Hey brother, this is a request I thought of while watching your i made better mobs for minecraft video, if this is to out of place just ignore it. I think you should add mobs that attack players bases, but not immediately as to give them a fair opportunity to get rid of them before then. It should be an almost miniboss monster that will try and avoid the player, what it does is attract mobs to itself like a shield, it does not despawn and the mobs it has do not despawn, after a certain amount of time or once it hits a certain amount of mobs it will attack a place it considers a base. It will send in creepers to blow into the walls and it will take over the base. The more mobs it has around it the better the loot. It might also attack village’s and turn the villagers into cursed villagers/zombies that turn into normal villagers with the hero of the village thing for a bit when the thing is killed. Another idea is to have a scouting mob, for instance a goblin with a spy class might spawn around your base during the day, and when it sees you theres a sound effect and then it runs off. Kill it before it gets out of render or in the next day or night a raid will happen. There should also be an achievement or message saying some kind of warning. Sorry that this is the wrong place to post this but thought you might have stopped looking at the comments on the other vid, thank you for reading this and have a good day.
Also, i see some mods that make the thing about defending but i don’t want one like that cause i just wanna play minecraft but better with some danger to my actual base cause it doesn’t matter what stage of the game your on, it will always be a threat.
pillagers having a "captain" is a very neat idea but its not very fleshed out, just having a banner on them and nothing else, maybe if they where turned into a more specific mob? given a more taller stature and providing more of a support ally by blowing a horn that could give some kind of buff, maybe it could rarely drop the horn, letting you also use it yourself and buff your allies instead.
There should really be mobs that you can only fight with potions, I had "The Alchemist" as an idea, being a more powerful type of witch you'd find maybe in a new structure
I keep trying to write out my thoughts but I am bad at articulating them so I just want to let you know that this is a BANGER video, thank you for making it
I have an enemy Idea what if you make a mob base around idk a little taller then a player piglin that trys to trick you to try to block with you're shield only for him to try to run behind you and deal alot of dmg but gets tired if it runs long enough idk just an idea to throw at the wall :)
