It does add some thickness to the phone. However considering what's on the market for the Pixel in terms of cases, I think it's a trade off that's worth it. You get protection, you can customize with the skins, it's magsafe and pretty good grip. Might be the only case you need until they make the ghost case
@@SeanFennerJr Yes, I agree that it is a very good case. Especially with magsafe. I had it for my Pixel 8 Pro. The rails with that non-slip texture was so nice. I'm just hoping it slimmed down a bit for this gen. It was pretty thick on the 8 Pro.
This is my first pixel ! So I can't compare. But I don't find it any thicker than grip case for iPhone if that helps. I find it still very comfortable to hold even with the bulk
I think if you combo the grip case with the camera skin that comes with it and the raised back bumper on the case you get some protection.it could be a bit more tho ngl
Team sheath- magnets a little stronger and i just think the material the sheath is made of sturdy yet a slight give that i believe would cushion hard drops better then the harder material🤷🏻♂️
Yes. Bought a white iPhone 16 128gb last night. I was using an iPhone 11 and coming from it the upgrade was overdue and the improvement is significant . I was considering the iPhone 15 but Apple Intelligence was a big factor in my decision to choose the iPhone 16. Excited for it. Another reason was the 2 generation jump from A16 straight to A18. I understand the criticism that the improvement over the 15 is not groundbreaking enough to justify the price tag. I don’t think upgrading from 15 to 16 makes much sense either but if you’re using an old iPhone and it’s not really serving you well then I would say that it makes sense to shell out the extra $$ and get the 16.
I think once apple intelligence is fully fleshed out we are going to start to see some really cool things from all of Apple's products. Going from an 11 to 16 is huge tho! I think you're going to enjoy the new features and the camera ! Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment 🏆
I feel like all the 'new' features for the airpods 4 will be able to be done with the pros. For example, shaking your head to control certain things can be done with the pros, as well as noise cancelation, transparently, conversation awareness exe. I might have missed something but it seems like they are just recreating the pros with a different appearance.
I'm confused as well this time around with what apple was thinking in some of these designs and feature changes. Software seems to be the biggest advancement this year if we can call it that. And it's not even fully ready at launch. Just have to wait see these head to head tests done on the 16.
I’m upgrading from the 15 Pro to the 16 Pro Max. I always wanted a white iPhone. Went with natural last year. Miss the bigger screen & battery. Giving my son a discount on my 15 Pro
I have the Benks case in dark grey and it is very slim. It fits very well and with a thin glass screen protector. However there is less than half a mm of raised lip above and around the screen and even less around the lenses of the back cameras. Not sure whether this is an issue or whether it is sufficient protection but up until now, after some six weeks of use, all is good. The quality is excellent but the thin relatively hard plastic and hardly any raised borders just gives me some concern that, just maybe, more consideration is given to fit and appearance than to drop protection. Nevertheless I do like it and will continue using it, hopefully for many years.
Do not buy ESR cases! I used it for 6 months and the kickstand came off the case showing the glue underneath! Supposedly 12 months warranty covered for quality issue but ESR claimed it is wear and tear and no warranty!
Just received the Andar Aspen. I COULDN’T BE MORE DISAPPOINTED. THIS CASE SMELLS LIKE CHEMICALS! IT SUCKS! I just got back from Italy and I know what good quality leather LOOKS, FEELS and SMELLS LIKE. This piece of crap feels like hard cardboard and smells like chemicals….
You were right - I am impressed at their audacity to call this a "minimalist" case. This - a skin with weight, that uses magsafe instead of actual glue. I reckon I shouldn't have to explain just how foolish of an idea that is. You, my friend, were a victim of marketing propaganda.
It’s def not what I expected but after a few days of trying it out, I came to like it a lot. Only really protects the back. Phoneback is what I think they call it 😁
I bought a case for my iPhone 14 that had the same soft inside thing in it and because of it my phone overheated and burned the motherboard and I want to know whould the dbrand case do the same? Cuz I really wanna buy it
@@SeanFennerJrMy father always uses absolutely ugly cases, which ruin the look and feel of the phone and I’ve become sensitive to phone cases in general.
Last I heard the ghost 2.0 case will be release in August. The challenge I have with this is they’ve yet to solve the problem and their next version is right on the heels of the next iPhone being released, and that’s not even a guarantee.
At this point if you bought the old ghost case they should send you a free one for your phone of choice in this next iPhone cycle. I’d love a ghost case for the iPhone 16
@@SeanFennerJrhi its me just on a different account i looked at a few videos but still having trouble deciding but i heard great things about the synthesis and montage armour pro the max id drop the case from is 2 metres im just after something very comfortable and protective for a 2 metre drop (wont scratch or break my phone)
I’m glad to know there are people out there like me. lol bro I change my case and wallpapers like 4 times a day hahahaha my iPhone 15 pro max is probably sick of me lol.
@@SeanFennerJr So far so good. But scratch easily and very noticeable. I think it will take at least 2 to 3 months to see the patina as the case got a lot of leather wax on it.
