What Was Apple Thinking ? NEW AirPods Max Are a Joke!

The Sept 9th 2024 Apple Event has come and gone! The highlight of the Apple Event was the new iPhone 16 series and the introduction of Apple Intelligence . However the most notable let down from the event was the lack of Improvement in the AirPods Max. We waited all this time for a refresh and were left empty handed. Besides new colors and USBC, there isn't much different about the latest set of over the ear headphones from apple. What happened ? What was Apple thinking? Let me know your thoughts on this !

I feel like all the 'new' features for the airpods 4 will be able to be done with the pros. For example, shaking your head to control certain things can be done with the pros, as well as noise cancelation, transparently, conversation awareness exe. I might have missed something but it seems like they are just recreating the pros with a different appearance.

I'm confused as well this time around with what apple was thinking in some of these designs and feature changes. Software seems to be the biggest advancement this year if we can call it that. And it's not even fully ready at launch. Just have to wait see these head to head tests done on the 16.
